Thanks again rammygirl. She’s living in Ireland. She doesn’t have private health insurance there. She’s very healthy so I think she’ll be fine re a medical or doctors cert. I would like to arrange the Australian health insurance also to tick all the boxes.

Thanks rammygirl. We’re in NSW and it seems a condition around stamp duty ie. we might have to pay double if we don’t stay for at least 200 days. It will be our principle place of residence.

Hi. We’ve just bought a house and are required to stay in the house in Australia post settlement for a minimum of 200 days. Does this mean technically that we can’t leave the country for business or a holiday ? Thank you.

Hi. We want to bring my 86yr old mother to Sydney on a 12 month tourist visa. She’s in excellent health but we’ve been told that she might need to have private health insurance to support the visa application. I would appreciate any ideas of which companies might cover her please. Thanks.

We’ve just imported our car (ML350) into NSW but having difficulty finding a company that will comprehensively insure imported cars. We didn’t expect this issue. Can anyone recommend an insurance company please? Thanks!

Hi everyone. We're waiting for our AoS letter. In the meantime we're trying to work out how to actually pay the 2nd VAC assuming visas are granted. We're being told it should be by credit card or bank draft. We don't have an Australian account. Appreciate any advise / thoughts on this please.
