For everyone who is asking me details about the massive approval rate - Coz, I know some of the ppl who applied for PR along with me and they got the approval as well. That is how - maybe I should re-pharse it and not to generalise it to everyone??
Happy for you... But this is definitely a crap process....

Were you the first in this company to apply for PR or 457? -
Taking long time .. it’s already 6 and half month .. no update
You shouldn't worry... the average processing time for TRT is between 8 to 10 months...[emoji5] -

It's not about trade or professional occupation. The processing time has increased for TRT and DE both.
Yes, the processing time has increased...
And, especially for the occupations under the short term list... These people won't be eligible for PR very soon..
When looking at the spreadsheet, most of people who are stuck... are the ones in the short term list??

They have updated the processing time : http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/186-
No change for TRT 8-10 months but the DE has increased to 9-15 months!
ER
And I'm still thinking the difference between DE and TR is soooooo unfair and ridiculous...
-
90% will be approved within 15 months, and the other 10% have to wait maybe 16 or 17 or 18 months or even longer. That is ridiculous!
This is definitely stupid....

11 months today....[emoji20][emoji848]
Still no news...[emoji35]- 2

Your MA is right if you were granted a DE 186 visa. Opposite to the 457 transition to PR you have to work at least 2 years with your sponsoring employer AFTER your PR was granted on a DE. However, my MA also told me that DIBP has no resources allocated to follow up and cancel PR visa if you decide to leave your employer as it is common practice but it's legally not correct and yes it might affect your citizenship application.
I think this is applicable for direct entry and transition, no?
It's a general rule related to the 186 visa -

Any one granted visa from June 2017 as cook
Look at this spreadsheet: https://goo.gl/bFWMIY
There're only 2 visas granted in June 2017...
Good luck

If your application is still within the published service standards, your email will be deleted and you will not receive a reply.
I guess this is better to call them then...

Hi guys,
For those who have followed up with DIPB on the status of their applications by email, how long does it take to get an answer?
Does it take also months just to get a status?
Thanks

Thanks mate, I spend probably half my days on that spreadsheet :-)
Any idea if checking the ImmiAccount is worth it though?
It's difficult to say... I also check my account 10 times a day...
I've been on this forum for almost a year now...And it seems that some people don't see any updates on the Immi Account website... The status can change from 'Received' to 'Finalised'
However some people can also see the status changes... from 'Received' to 'In Progress'
Sorry.. I don't really help you...

My occupation is skill level 1.... and I've been waiting for 12 months.... There're many other people who have a skilled occupation and who are still waiting since long time.
However I'm on the short term list.. I guess it might explain why I'm still waiting....
