  1. SORRY I SENT TOO SOON ......

I think that with only  thoccupations on the MTOLS List now able to apply for 186 VISA we will see much quicker processing times!! That's over 50% of the occupations eligible removed.... that has to have a positive impact on the visa's currently in the system!

I agree with you but I think this is too soon to see the impacts...
All 457 people can still apply so I guess there'll be a lot of applications in the coming months but the processing time should reduce afterwards [emoji5]

  2. Okay so this is another thing.... they regularly change time constraints expected to wait, very often it will fluctuate from month to month and there are always people waiting longer then what the time frame stipulates at that moment... So does the time frame apply to every one? My guess is probably not. I am a firm believer that if you have been bypassed within the original time frames set then its likely you are in that miserable 10% (the mystery of why these guys are left behind as i previously have said is MIND BLOWING)... let's hope i'm wrong but that's my theory! If you are not in that 75% and you have passed that 90% --- well it just seem's like the only logical answer!

AGAIN I'M LOBBYING FOR SPARKLES AND VISA'S AND LESS WAITING TIME!

I know I can't dream or hope anymore.. I'm officially part of the 10%...[emoji52]

  3. I'M GOING FOR A MORE POSITIVE OUTCOME BECAUSE WHAT YOU PUT OUT YOU ATTRACT BACK:
    TRT: 5-8 Months
    DE: 8-11 Months
but what about that poor 10% that's left behind.... when will they be addressed, that 10% blows my mind every time i think about it!!11

Sorry for the negative note [emoji5]
But I would prefer to read true processing time... and understand what is the maximum...
I've been waiting for 15 months and 1 week.. there's also a lot of DE applicants who have even been waiting more.
So.. I don't know how they can reduce the processing time and not touch older applications...

  4. Hi all [emoji4]
I’m the second applicant with our doughter, my husband applied as cook/pastry cook on 30 June 2017
    186 trt
    State on imi account received
is going to be really ard for us becouse his job (boss) is getting worse and worse, we really need this visa (as everyone here a guess)

    Yeah as everyone here [emoji1]
    Good luck
  5. Based on my experience, the truth is that MA are useless. Their service 99% of the time is just document forwarding.
They take long time to get back to you whenever you have a query and they don't seem to wanna do much work.
I'm sure they only exist because there's people too busy to deal with that kinda stuff or too afraid of something going wrong because they did something wrong. I'm both the first and the latter [emoji4]

I bet we have the same MA...[emoji23][emoji28][emoji1]

  6. Im not trying to scare you all or provide you with any wrong information,It could be specific to nature of applications itself, So please do not blame me if some one finds complete contradictory information from any Ma or otherwise. I now feel it is something like Spouse visa that you need to keep updating lol even after 2 years.

My understanding was that nomination and visa application should be 100% up-to-date at the time of lodgement..
And the officier can request the latest documents if they want to..
    No?

  7. Hi,
I am new to this forum, not even sure if I am on the right platform.
I simply want to ask that I have applied for my 186 Direct Entry visa under Marketing Specialist on 20th Dec 2017.
When do you think I can expect a case officer or any news from immigration?
    Thanks,

The current average processing time for direct entry is between 10 and 15 months...
  8. I can see that a huge influx of direct entry applications could be ‘high risk’, but hopefully that term isn’t applied to TRT stream applications. That’d be pretty difficult to swallow. It’s like admitting the 457 processes were lax to begin with, which is not something that could be the fault of the applicant nor of the nominating employer, and doesn’t exactly ring true of a ‘grandfathering agreement’.
If you and your employer met the requirements for 457 and have stuck to the rules for TRT stream agreement, then that’s pretty black and white if you ask me. How could you suddenly be higher risk now than you were when your 457 was granted?

Hopefully the term "high risk" isn't applied to DE stream applications who have a 457 visa.... [emoji1]

  9. I am waiting last 20 months for my 186 TRT grant. Is it not enough longer processing time for my application????[emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]

I don't understand how they considered an application to be high risk...
They've already approved our 457.. so if our applications would be not genuine, they wouldn't have granted this visa... so it shouldn't be that long..
    [emoji35]
    I'm seriously tired of waiting...[emoji22]

I mentioned before about my friend getting her application appointed after 4 months (applied Nov 2017) and here being on the MLTSSL, whereas I have been waiting since June 17 (marketing specialist STSOL). I am just guessing but I would say that prior to March 1st they have reclassified most of the STSOL applications as high risk in order for new measurements after the 1st March to reclassify each application according to any new the formula they have created which brings in the AFP and ATO partners etc. So be it TRT or DIRECT they need to look and validate the genuineness of all existing STSOL 186 applications using their new method post April 2017 announcement.

I think after March things might move a lot quicker (fingers crossed) but don't listen to me I talk out my bum

but the MLTSSL applications might not been genuine as well :) Else, I hope they will process our applications much faster from the 1st of March.

    Finger Crossed :)

The way I am reading this is that they just aren't looking at 186 applications for STSOL skills until after the 1st of March when they can filter out the fraudulent crap from the genuine applications.

30% of fraudulent applications or companies who don't comply to their immigration obligations seem huge to me... Why people applies if they know their applications are dodgy....:)

And even if they have 'clamped down on them', they can't just leave them at the back forever. If they were that concerned they would just remove them for the lists surely? They have had plenty of chances too.

I think there's a high number of applications for Marketing specialist. That's why, some people are waiting since June 2016...????

really need to take my hat off to you guys who waited more than 1 year...

how do you deal with stress and impatience? i think the mental advice is as important as those technical ones

I think those who have been waiting for more than a year (or less..) should not visit this forum every day like I do... :) It makes this waiting period even more difficult...Now it only gives me a feeling of injustice :):):)
