Hey guys...
I FINALLY received the golden email.... I can't be more happy.. My PR has been granted
- Occupation: Marketing
- Direct Entry
- Onshore
- LR
- Nomination / Visa application lodged in December 2016... (Yeah long time ago... LOL)
- Nomination and visa approved on same day.
- No extra requested documents
I've been addicted to this forum and my immigration account over the last 17 months...Way too much! believe me It has been helpful sometimes but I've been also very upset when people provides misleading information or when people shares weird theories (example: Only unskilled people waits long time, only people who works for small companies etc etc
this is mostly Bulls***** and very irritating to read I guess, this is just luck of the draw seriously
I can now enjoy my freedom and good luck to everyone, but especially to people who have been waiting forever.
I keep my fingers crossed for the 2016 applicants!!!!!!
@AJSAJS: You're NEXT!!!!!!!

Second this. You can find the process online to complain.
My MA thinks this is a bad idea to complain... What do you think?
I personally would like to.. but I'm wondering how can it impact my application...

Here I am since March 2016...
I feel sorry for you
You should definetely make a complaint.. It doesn't make sense at all to wait over 2 years while some people only waits a couple of months. It makes me very upset
Can you tell us what's your occupation?

Being positive and remaining happy when everyone is complaining about the extended processing times is my way of showing support... sorry i'm not here to jump on the band wagon and burn all immigration agents at the stake!
Sorry my positive attitude in life offends all the realistic and factual people in this forum.
This fact may offend you but whilst the TRT waiting time has grown the DE waiting time has been shortened so that is tremendous news for a lot of people in this forum. Again sorry i mentioned it...
You get out what you put into life... i'm enjoying every day i have in Australia whilst i'm still here... imagine if your nomination got refused, you have 35 days to leaver the country and you spent your last 6 months (or 17 months in your case) here in misery? That's the way i'm looking at it...
Good Luck all!!!!
Note that we can be eager to know the outcome and fully enjoy Australia

Only an un-positive person would be factual in an area in which time and time again has proven itself to be completely sporadic and luck of the drawer! No body knows how they allocate files - its a mystery.... so being positive in the lottery of visa applications i find some what warming ... Its also worked so far for me :-)
I'm glad that your positivity will make your visa granted in the published timeframe

They are true for some people....
I wish people in this group would be more positive ....
Positive attracts positive - i am a firm believer in law of attraction!!!
All this negativity is not healthy!!!
It's not about being positive or negative seriously... it's just a fact.. They're currently processing applications between June 2016 to December 2017.
So this is better to not have too high expectations and just be happy if it happens in a shorter time frame.
Disappointment is even worse

DE has actually decreased the last 2 times and is more inline with TRT now... so they are making improvements!!!
I think that we could talk about improvements if these processing time were true [emoji2] -
Hi can some one pls help me
186 applied on 20/6/17 as a cook TRT. Still no news
Is anybody hve any idea how long it I'll take ?
I applied in December 2016..
Do you have any idea how long it will take? [emoji5]
Best of luck mate [emoji5] -
Keep on hanging on! Marketing specialists are having an unprecedented approval rate right now!
It makes this waiting period even more difficult...
It becomes difficult to be happy for others when you have waited much more time...
Yes sorry guys [emoji5]
It seems that the more you wait the more you're gonna wait...
I can't see the end right now...[emoji848] -

Have you or your MA try contact immi officer as you are over the estimated process time?
We both contacted them.
I called them few weeks ago and they told me that there was no officer allocated to my application.
My MA contacted them by email and he got no answers...

They have updated the average processing time:
DE: Between 8 to 13 months
TRT:Between 8 to 11 months...
I wish these time frames were accurate... It's been 16 months for me today... (DE)

Your occupation is not high risks like managers, you will be fine.
References why I think it's based on occupation:
https://cruxmigration.com.au/2018/02/21/50-percent-of-rsms-application-being-refused-why/
http://www.australiavisa.com/immigration-news/refusal-retail-managers-rsms-187-visa/
Maybe... but It doesn't make the process faster... LOL

Yeah but I'm sure that still marketing specialists still process faster than other occupation like chefs or managers (who waits probably more than 20 months in 187 forum).
Not really... It's been 16 months for me... And my company is not small at all... sponsored a lot of people in the past... My application should be complete...(I have a MA) and I've been living in Australia since a couple of years.... So I'm not sure that this occupation is processed faster

When did your medical test expire? -
What number did you called?
The number on the acknowledgement of application received letter.
Look at your letter, we might not have the same processing center.
