Dear Gogita, The time gap between visa lodgement and visa approval does not count under 2 years job contract. According to the immi website the two year contract time starts from the PR approval date not from the PR lodgement date and for the citizenship criteria one should be in the Australia for 4 years and should have 1 year of grant of PR. Helllo Niranjan, As far as I know according to the 187 RSMS visa under Direct Entry we must remain with the employer for the 2 years time from the grant date of PR. It does not matter if you have already worked for the employer or you just start to work after the visa approval we must remain with the employer for 2 years time. But in certain cases if you are eligible for citizenship after 1 year of PR grant then you can apply for Australian citizenship and in that case you don't need t worry for 2 years to be with your employer. I suggest you to read carefully your job contract that you submit to the immigration at the time of visa lodgement. I have applied nomination and visa as a Retail Store Manager from the food court cafe in WA under 187 visa RSMS Direct Entry on 25th July 2016 and I guess we need to wait few more months...

Congrats to you all guys who got their golden email(PR) from DIBP for february and best of luck to all who has applied on March. Is here anybody who has applied as a Retail Store Manager? I guess its good to catch up with the guys floating on the same boat..LOL. I applied onshore my visa and nomination on 25th July 2016 as a Retail Store Manager from the food court cafe in WA and I got my acknowledgement and bridging visa from NSW pese. And by analysing all the posts here in this forum I guess I need to wait for at least next 3 months. Waiting patiently....

Hi Yudhveer, My RMA told me to get my wife's overseas police clearance certificate that's why I have submitted my wife's PCC. From my personal point of view too it is necessary to get overseas PCC for your wife. Thanks

Hi Yudhveer, Yes I did the same. My wife is overseas but I included her as a secondary applicant in my RSMS visa application. I applied my nomination and visa on 25/07/16 as Retail Manager and waiting. Me and my wife are going to do our medical by the end of this month and have already submitted police clearance certificate. Let me know if I can help you. Thanks Regards, Manoj
