    Hi Guys,

    I have been following this blog for a while now. Its greatsource of receiving practical knowledge of various scenarios and requirementsfor the same visa subclass 186.

    Today, I just want to share my time line as well.

    Nominationand VISA submitted on 03/02/2016

    Doc. Requestedon 22/07/2016

    Doc.Submitted on 25/07/2016

    Status: Assessmentin progress

    Web designer,Transition form 457.

     

    It is hardto predict the way immigration works but unfortunately we don’t have anychoice. Good luck for everyone who are waiting in queue it won’t be long.

    PR - is this ever going to come ?? am getting dull everyday ... no enthusiasm left .... I refresh my immigration account every hour. already been 11 days from all the documents submitted ...... what else you want immigration .... please look at the people who are waiting for so long.

     

    Have patience my friend your approval letter is not far away. May be this is your week.

    Please accept my apologies as I am posting this tooooo late... but I would like to share the great news.....

     

    My PR got granted yesterday 21st July 2016

     

    Nom & Visa Applied on 17/12/15, Nomination approved on 11/06/16.... Visa 21/07/2016.....

     

     

    TRT, HR, 2 People....

    yes ,my MA contacted me.. nomination has begun,, asked for super annuation record, training details and updated contract on nomination part ..and form 80, stat decl and evidence of relationship with spouse on visa application part

    Hi Guys! what's "IMMI s56 request for more information" if anyone's come across? my mate asked.

     

    [h=3]MIGRATION ACT 1958 - SECT 56[/h]Further information may be sought (1) In considering an application for a visa, the Minister may, if he or she wants to, get any information that he or she considers relevant but, if the Minister gets such information, the Minister must have regard to that information in making the decision whether to grant or refuse the visa.

    (2) Without limiting subsection (1), the Minister may invite, orally or in writing, the applicant for a visa to give additional information in a specified way.

    Yeah...i got my PR yesterday.

     

    My timeline was ( feels good to think of timeline in the past :)

     

    Nomination Date: 16/12/2015

    Visa Application Date: 15/02/2015

    HR, Direct Entry, ICT Business Analyst.

    No additional docs requested. i did not submit a Form 80 and they did not request for one.

     

    PR granted 20/07/2016

     

    Post PR: life feels the same, it is yet to sink in.

     

    I want to thank each one of you for keeping me company over the last year.. i used to start and end my day reading all the comments and wondering when it would be my turn.

    Just a small confusion your visa application date seems bit weird.

    just checked my immi. acc. it has changed from received to information requested. well they have asked for stat. decl, form 80 which i had already submitted and relationship proof with spouse as she is offshore at the moment. Does that mean my nomination is approved?

    visa and nom- 20/1/16

    457--->186 trt stream

     

    Could be or could not be depends upon if your visa and nomination is with same CO. Best person to answer this query is your MA if you have used one.

    Please can someone clarify what the nomination granted means on the spreadsheet? If my employer has already nominated people for 186 in the past then does this mean my nomination is automatically approved or is it for my individual nomination?

     

    For every 186 visa your employer has to apply for individual nomination. I suppose in the case of 457 just one time nomination is required.

    i have just joined , i have question if any one can give accurate answer it will be big relief for me , question which month 186 visa they are assessing now ?????

    Hi @jatin03

     

    If you look at older posts in forum on last few pages you will see we have people getting approvals mostly who applied in Nov and December 2015 some lucky ones from Jan 2016 also got approval. Some of the guys who applied in Jun 2015 and Sep 2015 are still waiting. In short you can not get the accurate answer. Depends on Immi.

     

    Anyways share your timeline, may be some of our senior members can help you.

     

    Be patient we are boarded on same train, which is going through dark tunnel.

    All the best to all of us who are still waiting...May the force and patience be with us....

     

    Common Immi you can do it...you are doing good but now you need to do better and please shower approvals upon us....
