At themoment im a stay at home mum but i was a medical typist/receptionist.

Is this having a job to go to that earns the certain amount? Considered this too but unsure how to go about finding the work while still in oz?

This is what I am interested in too. Im British Born and have an Aussie hubby and son. Hubby misses the ancestry visa by 1 generation and saving up the required funds for the spouse visa is impossible. This seems to be our only option, the surinder singh route. That is if it is possible...

I wish I was returning in 2016 with my hubby n bubs. Trying to get my head around getting my Aussie hubby a visa. Can't afford the 60 odd thousand as don't have a house to sell so now looking into me getting a job offer. Just want to be back there already. Hard being torn between two countries.

His one generation out, his great grandparents were Irish. Looks like the only way will be for me to get a job as we don't have a house to sell or that amount of money. Does seem unfair really. They make it as hard as they can for us! Obviously don't want us back ?

Just wondering what other visa possibilities are there? I am British and want to go back-to the UK with my Aussie husband and bubs. There is no way we will be able to afford to save the amount specified to be in the account for however long. Interested to find out whether there is an alternative route? Seems they make it so hard for us to be able to return back home which our families!
