  1. Flights booked for Feb for a 2 week look into housing/ jobs etc. Still aiming for 2018 to be our proper moving date. Anyone else booked their visa activation entry? X
  2. Congratulations faith - that’s fantastic news, so quick as well!
  3. Thanks Jodipodi - excited and nervous at the same time. Hoping to validate in either September 2016 or early 2017, move end 2017 or early 2018. Things already looking very promising for work x
  4. 12 weeks on the dot from loading Medicals and Police Checks - GRANTED!
  5. Hi faithmove7, it’s been 10 weeks today since I uploaded the requested medicals, police checks and Form 80 (time line below). I’m still waiting a decision, hopefully not too much longer to wait as I believe they aim to process 190 within 12 weeks. A 3-4 week wait would have been nice.. Keeping everything crossed for everyone, and keep us posted when you hear x
  6. O wow many congratulations cjenky on the visa grant that’s really brilliant news and happy birthday! That birthday pressie is going to take some beating today - double celebration today then Sadly no news here, but looking at when you submitted your PCC and Meds 18/3, I’m nearly a month behind you being 11/4 so hopefully I’ll hear something fairly soon. Keeping everything crossed.. Do you have any plans or idea of when you’re going to make the move? Once again really pleased for you. xx
  7. Fantastic news congratulations Angekins Hope your move goes smoothly. Yes keeping everything crossed here that's for sure.
  8. Hi cjenky, We lodged 190 NSW VISA on 23/02/2016, and then CO contacted me for police checks, medicals and From 80 which I submitted 11/4/2016. Would have front loaded if I had known more about the process. Hoping it won’t be too long now until we hear. I’m going on worst case scenario that the process starts over form the last time you submit something, so I’m working from 11th April but that could be wrong. Constantly and nervously checking emails every time my phone goes off driving me mad!
  9. Such an awesome thread Jack 91; thank you. It’s made me want it even more for me and my boyfriend (of 11 years) now, looks and sounds like you’re living the dream. Congratulations. I’m nervously waiting (praying) for my PR 190 to be granted. Everything completed and I submitted my application into my ImmiAccount 11/4/16, now it’s the unbearable waiting game. All the best for the future and your wedding in October. x
  10. Thank you rammygirl and snifter for your responses. I hope to validate the visa and complete the first visit as a holiday with both people listed on the application. After that I take it both people listed on the visa can enter Australia as they choose and separately if required. With regards to having validated the visa on a first visit, do you know how long the 190 visa lasts for please? I’ve seen that it can be valid for up to 5 years so theoretically I could enter 3 years later after the initial holiday, but then I would only have 2 valid years left to work?
  11. Many thanks Nemesis, Snifter and Raul Senise for your replies. I am applying for subclass 190. I have already submitted documents in the EOI, but theres now a section in the ImmiAccount for the actual visa to submit the same supporting documents, so am therefore in the process of adding all documents again. I have also completed the Medical Questionnaire and received a HAP ID, so I will now look to book the medical exam with a clinic even though I haven’t a case officer. I understand from looking at other threads this is known as front loading documents before a CO is assigned. I hope my understanding is correct and this may help speed the process up. I need to also research about how to get a character/police check done as that will be next on my list of things to do.
  12. Hi rammygirl, I posted in a different thread about the entering Australia for the first time after a visa is granted and if all dependants/ spouse on my visa have to be present at the same time - and response was that they didn't. Have you got a different experience or knowledge into this please? Last thing I want to happen is arrive on my own and be refused entry as not all those listed on my visa are present! Many thanks
  13. Hi everyone, I have lodged my visa application in my ImmiAccount 1 – should I resubmit all supporting documents I have (passport copy/ employment evidence/ vetassess outcome/ proof of relationship for my de facto partner)? 2 – should I wait to assigned a case officer before doing anything (booking medical and character check etc?) Many thanks for any advice
  14. Sorry to cause confusion - I am the main applicant...
  15. Hi there, Question regarding my partners employment history when completing Visa in Immi account. I am the main sponsor, and am not claiming any points for my partner so not sure why they need these details, however they have asked for employment history dates, and I don’t know them exactly as there was a couple of months temping after taking voluntary redundancy. Should I put in approximate dates; or will this cause our visa application to be voided later down the line? Many thanks in advance!
  16. Okay so just preparing for all eventualities… Partner of 11 years is listed on my EOI. Having received an invitation to submit visa application, my partner is getting cold feet.. When entering Australia with subclass 190, does everyone have to be present who is listed on there, or could I enter on my own if we spilt up or will my visa be void?
  17. Many thanks indeed for speedy replies which are very reassuring. Just to clarify gaining work in any sector/role then wouldn’t have any effect on me remaining in Australia when/ if applying for PR?
  18. Hello everyone, this is my first post so please be kind as these probably seem like silly questions but I can’t find an answer anywhere online.. I’ve received an invitation from NSW to lodge Subclass 190 for Program or Project Administrator role My questions are as follows: 1 - I’m concerned about the current economic climate in Australia and securing employment. What if I can’t secure employment in a role for Program or Project Administrator - am I able to take any job; PA or bar work for example? 2 - Would this have any effect on me remaining in Australia if I didn’t gain employment in the specific role? 3 - Medical and police checks – I noticed on another thread that birth certificates are required for this - if so I will need to apply for a new one as I have no idea where mine is . What other standard documents are required please? Many thanks in advance for any advice.
