Hi there, I currently work in a SEN school and currently have 18 months experience there.. the problem is I'm teaching in a secondary school and my pgce was in primary education. I've been advised that I need 3 years experience in SEN before I apply for a visa, is this true?? many thanks in advance bryony

Hi there, I am 38 and qualified as a primary school teacher in July 2015, (I have a a BA Geography Degree, PGCE and 9 years experience working in a bank as a manager) Since qualifying I have been doing supply work and am currently on a 7 week placement in a special school working with children aged 14-19 who have severe learning difficulties I did live in Brisbane for over a year a few years back, but preferred WA if I m honest, but not really bothered where in OZ I initially settle... What is the score? Any advice you have would be amazing...
