Morning guys, I want to get my medicals done to front load my 189/190 visa. I know it's risky but I don't mind having them redone if required. I've completed the 'my health declaration' on immi and submitted it. Is there another step or is it just waiting for it to be sent to me? If so how long does it take? Thank you Leah Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't suppose you know if they do weekend appointments do you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey, I looked into it a bit more and asked about. I honestly think it's because it's a diploma and isn't classified as a equivalent to the Australian qualification. Top up to PGCE and you'll be fine x Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Morning Had my test on Wednesday and anything that could go wrong seemed to; not with my answers just the computer freezing and crashing. Part way through my computer had to be reset. This happened twice during the test. It's only been three days but I know someone else who took the test (same centre, same day) and got their results in 24 hours. Anyone had the same thing happen? It's causing a lot of anxiety. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you good luck with the top up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They might let you use some of your diploma credits towards the PGCE and just get you to submit the final assignment? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey, Yes my assessment is for SEN teacher. Only 4 weeks? Try speak to the uni and see if they'll let you resubmit or do a top up? It's worth asking at least? You can appeal AITSL but tbh I think you need the full PGCE or MA for it to count. I think it's level of study that's the problem not the length of time? Idk who runs the course now but the tutors were really helpful. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've seen vacancies on TES (Times Educational Suppliment, UK) website, they're rare but they do come about. If I see or hear of anything I will let you know. -

Does it have to be QLD straight away? Have you considered a 190 with another state and then you'd have the opportunity to gain the experience whilst meeting the 2 year residency requirement Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I received my AITSL assessment today for SEN teacher! So excited. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Police officers are fine and you wouldn't really need to have it verified if you uploaded it as a colour scan, sometimes you might be asked to get it certified if the colour scan isn't satisfactory so I wouldn't worry about that. Payslips etc. This would depend on a number of factors such as whether you're applying for partner skill points etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd go for it now and try and get in before the 1st of July, apparently secondary is a flagged occupation which might be why you were advised to go for middle. I decided to go for SEN rather than secondary. I'm on my tenth week and still not heard anything from AITSL. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
