Hi Powells, I posted my query .... copy pasting again ... any help would be great AITSL assessment is in process and was just wondering if someone could help me out with some info .... if they know or hv been in a similar situation .... I have all the requirements for AITSL but what am afraid of, is I may not make the required 60 poiints for immi .... I finished my ITE in 2002 which is a 2 year teacher training course in Early childhood .... been working for a renowned skool since 2008 but only finished my degree in August 2014. (AITSL says early childhood ITE can either be post graduate or undergrad) would they look at my work experience after my ITE or would they only consider the work done after I finished the full qualification required by them. On the AITSL website they say only work paid employment after the ITE wld be considered ... nowhere have they specified "work experience after the full education requirement of AITSl" its a bit tricky ... and that literally has me on pins and needles.

Hi Selena, I see u got ur skills assessed as an early childhood teacher .... I too hv applied for the same (they received my application on the 10th of August and I gt a confirmation email from them on 17th) I keep checking the application status, which is showing ässessment in progress" since last Tuesday. How long did it take for you to receive yours back from them? I am really hopeful but at the same time really scared. I have done a 3 year bachelors degree and a 2 year teacher training certificate which includes 60 days supervised teaching practice. Getting the IELTS score was a big hurdle as the aitsl requirement is quite high for teachers. :cry: I submitted a copy of all attested docs they require... transcripts of degree and ITE, syllabus covered, a letter from the HOD of the education dept of the college regarding the supervised Teaching practice ( as that wasn't specified in my final transcript) and also a letter from my employer stating that i hv been teaching here since 2008.
