  1. Ooo loulou good question! I'd like to know too!
  2. yes you need to send them the page along with the reference number.
  3. Hi dean. There's material given to you from the ielts website, plus you can get books off eBay. I've had to sit the academic test twice as I dropped 1/2 point in both reading and listening. I managed to get two sessions from ielts tutor who helped me "learn" the test rather than improve my English. He gave me hints & tips which were a massive help. Good luck.
  4. i really don't know then. I received an email from them within a few min of submitting the application today how long the processing takes. Sounds like you need to ring them to confirm. Especially if you only have a certain number of days to get the stuff back to AHPRA? You don't want them to close your application down because you'll loose your money.
  5. Anmac is the skilled assessment for nurses. That's a good time fingers crossed it will be quick too.
  6. Did id you get an email back saying it had been submitted?
  7. Have you checked your spam I case it's gone in there?
  8. Hi charlotte. Are you asking for the fit2work or the nmc? The fit2work should send you a reference page and number within 3-5 business days of submitting your application. Nmc just send the documents directly to where you have asked them to send them too. So you wouldn't hear anything I don't think.
  9. Yeah prob because of New Zealand, where are you heading too in Oz?
  10. Yes that is what my thoughts were too! Fingers crossed it pans out that way! Where are you headed?
  11. 8 weeks fingers crossed I'll have the same out come! Thank you x
  12. No it doesn't say so. It just says it needs to be printed off and sent with the reference number with your application.
  13. Hi mgreaves - thanks for the confirmation. I've sent off my form for the nmc to verify my practice, fit2work has come back this morning and I've just posted the last few documents off so they can be certified. Hopefully when these come back, next week I'll be able to submit my skills assessment through ANMAC and send off my application to AHPRA. I was hoping I would be able to send both off at the same time as this save 10 weeks of time, which means we could potentially get over for June/July 2016. I doing this this process alone without an agent, I've got brains so I thought why not? Lol. Fingers crossed I'm getting it right. Thank you sam
  14. Fit2work is AHPRA police check. This needs to be completed and sent off with the application form for AHPRA as they require the reference number and reference page sent out by fit2work. This takes a few days to come back and costs around £80.
  15. I've got my reference letter from fit2work this morning. Nmc have to send their verification or certificate of good standing directly to ANMAC and AHPRA this take approx 2 weeks from you submitting the forms to nmc. The cost is £34. Just got my last reference back this morning. I'm sending the last documents off to be certified then (fingers crossed) I'll be able to submit my application to AHPRA. Still dont one know whether to send the ANMAC off at the same time and pay for a full assessement or just wait additional 12 weeks and pay for a modified assessment??
  16. Ali you have made my night! Thank you!
  17. I was told that you had to complete the AHPRA registration prior to completing the ANMAC assessment. My friend is in Perth and spoke to AHPRA and that is what they informed her? Confused now???
  18. I haven't submitted anything to AHPRA or ANMAC yet. I will need a full assessment with ANMAC. I have sent my "standing of good practice" off for the NMC in the UK and I've completed my fit2work - just waiting to hear back. I have completed my iIELTS, and I have all my documents certified so just ready to go with the AHPRA assessment. I was hoping turn around times were quicker than what was advertised on their websites.
  19. Hi I've checked on AHPRA & ANMAC websites and have looked at their processing times, but does anyone have recent dealings with them to confirm these processing times are accurate? Currently AHPRA is 10 weeks and ANMAC 12 weeks. I hadn't realised I needed to register with AHPRA prior to submitting my skills assessment with ANMAC and now it's added another 10 weeks at least to my processing times. I had wanted to be in Oz for June/July 2016. Thanks sam.
  20. Passed my IELTS - 2nd time thankfully! Let the process begin! Such a relief! Yay speaking -9.0 writing 7.5 reading 8.5 Listening 8.5 overall 8.5 would have like 8.0 or above across the board for the extra visa points but I'm not being greedy!
  21. Cheers matey. I'm sure you'll be seeing my name popping up more in the near future!
  22. I thought doing the academic and getting 7 or over would kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Or am I miss informed?
  23. Wow! You knowledge is great thank you! I'm a bit gutted at having to re sit my IELTS but from what I hear native speaking English people don't always pass first time! And as I nurse I only really have the IELTS as an option. It's already a tough process and we haven't really started yet! Lol.
