I am in the same boat guys...Invitation to Apply NSW Nomination received on Friday 29 Jan....I have applied on 31 Jan 16..... Not really sure how soon will the processing take... :err:

It's almost certain....which occupation are you applying under and which VISA?

All this while I understood that Skills Assessment criteria was based on qualification and not work experience

It will be interesting to see how the new rules for accountants from 1 July 2015 will affect the invitation backlog. Up until the August round I preaume there were high accountants since these accountants were assessed on a "easier" criteria. Mosr EOIs after 1 July would have been assessed on a more stringent criteria. Only September results can tell if this is true.

Unfortunately PTE is not available in the country I am from. The only test available here is IELTS. Is IELTS General sufficient for claiming points? As per IELTS website it says " General Training – for school, work or migrationThe General Training format focuses on*general survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts. It is typically for those who are going to English-speaking countries to do secondary education, work experience or training programs. People migrating to Australia, Canada and New Zealand must sit the General Training test." But Pommie says I have to do IELTS Academic.

That's what I am confused about....Can I do IELTS General?

General or Academic IELTS test?

My EOI is under accountant general. Lodged on 24 March with 60 points. Still not invited. :-(

The DIBP isn't updated yet. That's why we all can share our information here to keep all of us updated.

Hi Guys I have created this thread for all accountant - 2211. If you can update us all of your invitations received date and EOI date of effect so that we all are aware where we stand in the line. I am sure we all feel so frustrated when the DIBP site is not updated in a timely manner. Thanks all in advance VISA 189. EOI date of effect is 24 March 2015. 60 Points. Not invited yet.

Can anyone please confirm (who submitted general accountant EOI after me with 60 points) who has received an invitation?

Is it normal for the points breakdown to show that? Has anyone else experienced this?

I submitted my EOI on 24 March 2015 - General Accountant. 60 Points. Hence, my date of effect ---->>24 March 2015. Unfortunately, 24 April 2015 invitation was the last time when Accountant General with 60 points were invited as per DIBP website. Funny thing is that Accountants with 60 points got cut-off on 23 March 2015 (my date of effect 24 March 2015). So I have been waiting for an invite. My Issue On 7 July 2015 I celebrated my 29th Birthday. (This did not affect my points - still on 60 points). Now when I generate my points breakdown from SkillSelect it shows Date of Effect as 7 July 2015. However, the screen after login still shows 24 March 2015. I am confused as to which on is correct? Please help.
