I am in the same boat guys...Invitation to Apply NSW Nomination received on Friday 29 Jan....I have applied on 31 Jan 16..... Not really sure how soon will the processing take... :err:

It's almost certain....which occupation are you applying under and which VISA?

All this while I understood that Skills Assessment criteria was based on qualification and not work experience

It will be interesting to see how the new rules for accountants from 1 July 2015 will affect the invitation backlog. Up until the August round I preaume there were high accountants since these accountants were assessed on a "easier" criteria. Mosr EOIs after 1 July would have been assessed on a more stringent criteria. Only September results can tell if this is true.

Unfortunately PTE is not available in the country I am from. The only test available here is IELTS. Is IELTS General sufficient for claiming points? As per IELTS website it says " General Training – for school, work or migrationThe General Training format focuses on*general survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts. It is typically for those who are going to English-speaking countries to do secondary education, work experience or training programs. People migrating to Australia, Canada and New Zealand must sit the General Training test." But Pommie says I have to do IELTS Academic.

That's what I am confused about....Can I do IELTS General?

General or Academic IELTS test?

My EOI is under accountant general. Lodged on 24 March with 60 points. Still not invited. :-(

The DIBP isn't updated yet. That's why we all can share our information here to keep all of us updated.

Hi Guys I have created this thread for all accountant - 2211. If you can update us all of your invitations received date and EOI date of effect so that we all are aware where we stand in the line. I am sure we all feel so frustrated when the DIBP site is not updated in a timely manner. Thanks all in advance VISA 189. EOI date of effect is 24 March 2015. 60 Points. Not invited yet.

Has any accountant (general) with 60 points got a invitation?
