  1. Hi guys,

I've got an email this morning from DIBP that after review, my visa application is undergoing routine checks and they will contact me if anything else is required.

The main thing is that they have mentioned [DLM- Sensitive] in the subject. Sensitive in red colour is also written at the end of the email. Can anyone guide me what is the reason for this. I am really worried now because its been 4 months and there aren't any signs of getting the grant soon.. Are they going to reject my application..?

Did you ask any questions from DIBP? or they just sent this mail?

  2. Re-opening my old thread. I am delighted to report, that even in our late 40s, my wife and I have managed to obtain a 190 visa for our family, which includes 3 children.

We both have degrees and 10 years work in a professional capacity. We both obtained superior grade on the IELTS, and my wife managed to secure a role to obtain the final 5 points.

We're planning to arrive in Perth towards the end of July.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread.

    Chris

Congratulations Chris. You are very lucky..Just went through the thread. I too applied for 190 in October and still waiting for a decision. How long did it take for you from the date of applying and which state? Thank you!

  3. daft question I know.

As others also mentioned better to bring few pencils and pens, eraser and any other stationary item you think required. They too provide you a pencil and eraser but who knows if the pencil pointer breaks in the middle of the test. Sharpening takes time and IELTS is a time game. You should not even waste a second!! Good luck.

  4. Thanks mate....I asked a Immi Agent who is my friend and he suggested me to wait.

But main problem is that there is no communication from DIBP....no CO contact or mail.

just my status on immi account since 18-Jan is "Application Received".

You might get a direct grant if you have uploaded all the docs they needed. That may be the reason for delay...

  5. Hello,

Yesterday I received for a second time a mail form CO (different one) requesting more information (wife's certified copy of skill assessment) and uploaded today.

First request was on 8-03-16 and loaded on 21-03-16

    5 weeks after second request.

My question if for people with similar experience. Does DIBP take that long again to review the new documents or is it a shorter waiting as they have approved previous info?

I'd die if I have to wait 5 weeks again :arghh:

    cheers.

Co contacted several times. First they sent a check list and sent all the docs thinking that's all they wanted. But no. Then asked for another form and then another. Most took about 40-45 days from each CO contact. Now waiting hoping they have all they wanted!

  6. Anyone got any guesstimates after sending additional documents on employment evidence history. initially Front loaded all documents in January.

They requested further employment history other week, so i seem to believe they've gone through everything else.

There can be further assessments on your details or you might get your decision. In my case I was contacted by the CO 2 times after sending initial documents. Each time took 1 1/2 months
