     Number of applicants: 1

    Citizenship application: Oct 2020

Appointment letter received: Jan 2022 (15 months from application)

Test: 7 Mar 2022 (16.5 months from application), and passed

Application approval: 10 Mar 2022 (3 days after the test)

Ceremony date: 11 Apr 2022 (1 month from approval, c.17.5 months from application).Ceremony in Manningham (VIC) council

Passport collection: 23 Jun 2022 (9-10 weeks from application). I collected in person in Melbourne, spent 4 hours at the passport office

I have been waiting for the passport for 7 weeks...checking online the website still say 'under assessment'

Application can be created online but eventually you still have to go to Auspost to lodge your application.

Can I know how to check the passport status online? If applied via post office in paper form

  3. I know the topic of the obligation to live and work in the Sponsoring State for a subclass 190 visa is often discussed.
Many advise that this is just a "moral obligation" and not required.
This is not the case. Some States are now actively pursuing non compliance and have successfully had sc190 visas cancelled for applicants not meeting their obligations of living and working in the sponsoring state, using cancellation provisions in the Migration Act.
Subdivision C - Visas based on incorrect information may be cancelled

How do you know you have completed 2 years? Is it 730 days in the particular state or how do you calculate it?
  4. Hi, we will be moving to Perth by the end of January.  Obviously we have done a lot of research, but I wondered if you lovely lot could give some guidance on the current cost of living out there.  What utilities can we be expecting to pay for a 3 bedroom house (approx. area: Jandakot/surrounding suburbs) ? How does it work with car insurance, does your no claims bonus from the UK count for anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tia.

    Hi

I live in Perth and can tell you what we pay

    1. Utility bills electricity gas and water they bill quarterly synergy is the supplier for electricity and for gas there are few suppliers Alinta, kleenheat and simple energy (newest one) we live in a 3x2

    2. Our car is insured with RAC I think they are the biggest insurance company in Western Australia and you can get lot of other member benefits. In addition we have a road side assistance

Hope this helps to some extent [emoji106]
  5. Hello,
Just wondering if anyone could help me with what visa I could get and if I would be able to get a job in Australia. I have a bachelors degree in safety, health and environmental management along with the NEBOSH general cert. I have 4 years work experience in a health and safety role for a construction company.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
