Hi guys we have sent our expression of interest off July 2015, police checks in place, my migration company has told me we can't have our medicals until we are invited to apply for our visa, can anyone tell me if this is true thank you x

We paid 2600 to use our agent, and I could have done a lot of the stuff myself and are always chasing them up, but that said there are also something's I couldn't do too, anyway my partner applied for his trade ass test on line him self picked a date in Wembley and paid for the test, hope this helps xx

Thanks very much for this info, I think I will look at booking somewhere for the 1st month, we are looking at 6 months 1st until we know where my partner is working, we will have 120,000 aus dollars so hopefully this will help, would things like mortgage statements help to x

Thank you for all your replies, we have looked at the regional postcodes and we know that Perth is out of the question so is Mandurah as its not on the list does anyone live in bullsbrook! My partner is an electriction.

Hi my partner has sat the ielts test twice now and failed on different subjects, i.e. writing 6.5 now 8, reading 8 now 6.5 he is going to do this one last time. We have been told we can apply for a regional visa (Perth area) for the 10 points needed, can anyone else let me know if this is worth pursuing. I believe you have to live in a designated postcode area and can only work for a company if it is registered to one of the designated areas! Thank you
