Please submit the bio-pages in colour scanned copies of all previous expired and current passports. im sure nothing to worry about just another thing to do. ​

That's weird as I sent my birth and marriage certificate.... Well who knows again more time to wait and hear if they want anything else! Come on case officer give me a break!!! And a visa pleeeeeaasseeee!!!!

Well they didn't want visa labels at all! They have clarified and it's just bio data pages of my current and previous passports to prove my name and maiden name. It says please send bio data pages from ALL previous passports but I don't have my first two so I'll just send what I've got. Hopefully that will be the end of it! I thought marriage certificate would have been enough, anyone else had to prove maiden name this way?

I submitted in February too and it is now mid June!!!! I am actually abit nuts, I am really happy for you @Pinkestlady but I'll be honest my heart sank abit this morning! My migration agent said she believes the department to be striking now this week! And so the wait continues......

You could then give that to your employer as a format, I agree with Ali though you really must get them to write it!

The skills assessment body should have an example of an acceptable reference which will give you an idea of the detail required. For example I had an ANMAC skills assessment and they specify exactly what requirements need to be met. You could check out there website?

Unfortunately care assistant is not on the skills list, but nursing is so that would be an option if you wanted to develop your skills further .... Something to think about anyway x

I know?!! Very odd, my migration agent said he cannot think what for, my prev oz visa obvs didn't have label and the only ones I do have are for South Africa and Indonesia in my old passport... She said some COs can be picky but we are baffled..... Thanks for your replies though and I will let yu know what they say.... Hi PIO, A few weeks after submitting medicals and police checks, new CO now requesting previous visa labels for me?? Anyone else ha this request as my migration agent says it is unusual and she is unsure why. anyone else had this and know why? very anxious I thought they had everything they needed! hope you can shed some light! :-)

Oh that's great, I honestly cannot recommend her enough she had been fab for us! We are still in Cornwall, we have done everything now and are just waiting for grant, although things on hold now until the 1st July as they hae reached their grant limits! So Hoping for a grant very soon after that. It has been such a long journey for us too, cannot wait ! ievery step if the way I have had great faith in Veronika and she gets back to you always te same day if you have any worries. let us know how you get on :-)

Hi, sortoutmyvisa.com offer a checking service for a much lesser fee, worth contacting Veronika and finding out how much that would be. She knows her stuff. It is a lot of money for an agent but at the same time it's a lot wasted if you don't use one and visa gets declined. The benefit of using a good aget is they will be confident in the success of your application. good luck!

Hi everyone, We have submitted medicals and PCCs through agent last week and thought the end was close! But she has emailed to say she won't be expecting a grant now until 1st July at least as things have slowed right down. I have read this the case with other visa sub classes but just wondered if anyone has had a grant recently or is in the same boat! Look forward to hearing from you :-)

Hi Frandy. Apologies for late reply I have been form filling for police checks! It will of course depend on what visa you are applying for and who is to be included in the application. I think there is a thread on here about costs, and a migration agent will be able to predict a final figure for you. I cannot include set up costs/ flights/ moving expenses as yet as that will be our next step and we have saved hard for that part. But to give you an idea and this is very rough as I have not counted to the penny..... We are a family of three ( me, husband and 3 year old).... Money spent so far...... Migration agent total fee....£2100 Skills assessment....£500 English exams (x2)....£240 Misc certification and admin costs for skills assessment....£50 Visa fee.... £3200 Police checks....£90 plus a South Africa one £50 medicals....£690 ouch..... So that's £6920.....that's so far and ware now in final stages I hope... Medicals booked for tomorrow.. Hope that helps! :-)

My migration agent emailed me link to police checks we would need for "all of us", and she now not bak at work until end of week so need to get on the case... But my son only 3...... I don't have to do one for him do I?????!!!!!!! common sense telling me of course not.. But we are so close now and everyday I feel a little bit more nuts... Just wanted to check?!!! hope you can clarify this for me! :-)

Hi guys... Does anyone know can drivers licence be used as one proof of address? Just moved so only so far have a bank utility bill and it said you need two separate things? If not I can get something sent, hope you guys know the answer! :-)

Co assigned today! What a relief, I hope all of you still waiting hear soon! We have to now book medicals and sort police checks. my husband is from South Africa and we need to obtain PCC from there for a period of time but that could take a while... Hi Kim, you can expect to hear from a Case officer within two months from submission and they will request any further info needed, PCCs and medicals.... from the look of it it is almost to the date at the moment! Depending on if you front loaded Police checks and medicals you may even get a direct grant. Processing times start to finish if all well usually within three months, so early days for you yet. I can only talk about it now as we are sure to hear something very soon, have been a nervous wreck these last two months! Hope that helps, Good luck
