  1. Congratulations to all those who got their grants!! Exciting Christmas it is for you! I've been waiting for mine and hopefully it will be very very soon and before Christmas Day. Just wondering if any Accountants have had grants recently? Was assigned a CO Nov. 9, submitted all requested additional docs Nov. 18. This waiting is just painful. Keep refreshing my email every 5 minutes, I'm sure many of you can relate.
  2. Wow! That sure was super fast. Congratulations Jhouse! Can I ask under which occupation you applied for?
  3. Thanks Amir HK! That's a sigh of relief. Time is of the essence now and I don't want to cause any delays with my application as much as possible. I'm just really wondering that if I reach 60 files uploaded, will the system actually block me from further attaching more files. Just curious, how far are you with your visa application and under which occupation? Or have you been granted your visa already?
  4. Hi everyone! Received an invitation to apply for a 189 visa last Friday, October 23. Paid the visa fees and uploaded my documents last Saturday. Based on the guidelines for this type of visa, there is a limit of 60 files that can be uploaded with each file not exceeding 5MB. I wanted to upload more documents such as payslips as there are a lot of them from working for almost 10 years but had to limit due to the restrictions. I am extremely worried now as I wanted to provide as much proof as I can. Also, needed to leave slots for my medicals and police checks. Did anyone of you experience the same concerns? If so, how did you got about it? I did not notice anything on the ImmiAccount screen counting the no. of files uploaded so I am wondering if anyone actually uploaded more than 60.
  5. I finally got mine too!!!! Accountant here as well.
  6. Hello. Any Accountants who received invitations during the October 9 round? Submitted mine August 24 with 70 points but was frustrated didn't get an invitation last week. I'm now wondering if there was anyone under the same occupation who received one. Thanks!
  7. Same here. Applied for 189 visa under ANZCO 221111 Accountant with 70 points. Submitted my EOI last August 24 as well but still no invitation. Quite disappointed and anxious.
  8. \ellere. Applied for 189 visa under ANZCO 221111 Accountant with 70 points. Submitted my EOI last August 24 as well but still no invitation. Quite disappointed and anxious.
  9. I'm also an Accountant with 70 points. Submitted EOI last August 24. I've been waiting all day for an invite but nothing came. I am seriously worried.
  10. Hi All, I am in the process of preparing my documents for a Skilled Independent 189 visa under ANZSCO 221111 (Accountant). Does any of you have any tips or pieces of advice in writing up the work experience certificate/document? My friend handed me a sample but I am open to any useful tips. Thanks.
  11. Hi Samir, I am in the process of gathering documents for a 189 visa application and I have the same question in mind. How did it go with your application? Did they accept documents other than payslips (e.g. income tax certificate, employment certificate, work experience certificate etc) as sufficient proof of your work experience? Thanks.
  12. Hello everyone! I recently completed my IELTS as a first step in the whole 189 visa application process. I have started to gather all required documents for skills assessment (Accountant). I have worked for the past 9 years (with about 4 months maternity leave last year) and I plan to claim points for work experience. I haven't kept my payslips in the past years and the company I worked for 4 years ago does not keep them anymore in record. Apart from the certificate of employment, work experience certification, and income tax certificates, I plan to submit bank statements showing the credits of salaries. I am just wondering those who have not submitted all payslips since day 1 of their employment on whether or not their assessing body still recognized their years of experience. It is a daunting task collecting all payslips, not to mention some previous employers won't even provide them anymore. As for my current company, I have been with them for 4 years but payslips up to 2 or 3 years ago can be retrieved through the company's online facility. Your responses are highly appreciated. Thanks!
