  1. Thanks for the replies. Hubby spoke to nationwide today and apparently they don't do buy to let mortgages?! He got told to look at some comparison website. I think we need to ring again! If we can't rent it, we will sell, but really don't want to at the mo. We are in Cambridge and the houses in our area are in demand so quite lucky in that respect.
  2. Hi, thanks for your reply. That's excellent to know. Did you tell them you were emigrating? Sharyn Hi We're with the nationwide and they allow us to rent. I know a few other people with NBS and they also let their houses. So just ask them. For us we didn't need to get a different mortgage. We just signed some form and it was sorted. Interest rate is slightly higher for this type of mortgage though. But it make little difference to monthly repayments.
  3. Hi, would you mind me asking who you have your mortgage with and what rate you got? ( if you dont mind me asking, you don't have to answer the last question) We are planning on moving to Perth at the end of September with a permanent residents visa. We are looking to be renting out our UK property as we would like to keep it as a pension option. We don't think our current mortgage lender (nationwide) will let us rent with them. We are trying to find out our options, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Sharyn
  4. Hi all, myself (Sharyn), hubby Phil and our 3 children, 8,6,3 are hoping to move out end of September. We are heading for Perth and can't wait! I am a Cardiac Sonographer and hubby a Clinical research scientist. Unfortunately we haven't been able to find jobs yet, but fingers crossed something comes up soon. Any advise on renting out our UK property and removal companies would be greatly appreciated :-)
  5. Thanks! I should think if they need more information, you would receive an e- mail to say you have some correspondence in your account and to log on into the immiaccount. I'm only guessing thou sorry, as I didn't get asked for more information. Best of luck
  6. Hi Sandip, All my payslips, p60s, everything was certified by a lawyer
  7. Thanks! I uploaded everything they suggested with police checks and medicals. We never got asked for anything more and didn't get assigned a CO. Fingers crossed your visa will come soon
  8. Hi all, I thought I should share the news that our visas got granted last week!! We didn't get asked to supply any further information and we didn't get assigned a CO. So, along with the skills assessment, and employment references for the last 10 years, I just supplied P60s for the 10 years and the current months payslip from current employer. I was worried that they would want more information, but thankfully they didn't! Good luck everyone
  9. Hi all, just to let you know we received our visa grant last Wednesday!!!! Finally, its starting to feel real and now we can start the job hunting! Good luck everyone, I hope the visas start coming thick and fast :-)
  10. I also had to have a lawyer certify all my documents. I have submitted p60s for every year I've worked and a current one for this year. I haven't heard anything back yet thou so I don't know if more are needed!
  11. You can check your medicals by logging into your e medical client account I think. Also, on your application it'll say when they've been finished.
  12. Thanks. I guess your right about no need is good news! I just don't want to run out of time with the 60 day time frame and then they say it's too late to submit anything else!
  13. Hi all, I have uploaded all our documents, including police checks and our medicals came through on the weekend. I was just wondering if anyone knew when its likely for someone to get in contact letting us know if there's anything else needed or weather or not what we have supplied is sufficient. Does anyone know when a CO is likely to be assigned? Is is at the end of the 60 day time frame or do they get in contact once the medicals are in? Thanks in advance
  14. Hi, For my skills assessment I didn't have to submit payslips just detailed references from previous employers over the 10 year period. They have to write in your reference the exact dates you were employed, weather full time or part time and the salary earned. I have uploaded all my documents and as I didn't have payslips going back so far I have sent in my p60s and my latest payslip from current employer. Our medicals got finalised this weekend so I guess I just wait to hear now if anything else is needed. Good luck
  15. Hello, we are at the same place too. We were supposed to be having our medicals tomorrow but they've cancelled because of their x-ray machine breaking down! Hopefully we'll get them done on Saturday. We are waiting for our police checks back then will be uploading everything. Its so exciting. The hubby and I first visited Oz 10 years ago, and ever since then we've wanted to immigrate, now we're finally doing it (with 3 boys in tow :-)) Good luck everyone with your applications
