Hi everyone,My employer has applied for nomination on 25th Nov 2014.

additional documents asked on 10th April.

Nothing after that.

Do you think there is any chance after 10 months??

Tell your migration agent to call your CO and ask about it coz usually nomination doesn't take that long. Or if you are lucky then maybe you will get both nomination and visa together. I applied my nomination in Nov 2014, then additional documents were asked in March and got approved in April. Just waiting for the visa approval.

Allocating file doesn't mean that the are going to finalise your application straight away. It means that they are going to looking into your file will request the further documents if needed then going to allocate to a case officer who already got hundreds of file on hand and your file will go behind everyone if you are from HR country otherwise you will be prioritise.

After getting the visa or not, I am going to send a email to immigration about everything and specially what there operator says on the phone.

I called another number as that number was always busy.. I have been told that my file was due to late Sep remember? but seems like it is still not my turn

It is just a matter of 5 mins if you have already submitted your documents...so you still got few days left in this month. Let see otherwise call them saying that you guys told me about it.

I called the department today and I am so lucky again because the lady on the phone was not helpful at all and she was sounding as why was I bothering her with my stuff moreover all she said that my file was being looking into and this is the only and the whole thing I got from this phone call.so frustrated and do not know what to do now...

I straight called the Parramatta office and then they email my team. It is still in process. So will for few more days and will email them again.

helllooo guys.i just checked my immiaccount and it has been showing that my IELTS,APC,OVERSEAS POLICE CHECK,WORK EXERIENCE,FORM 80,AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS have been recieved..just want to know what is going on right now with my file...should i be excited or is it just normal,please somebody who is in the same situation as me let me know what is going on..thankuuuu very much

It's just normal coz they received mine last year and I am still waiting..

Usually I have noticed that people get there visa approval within 4months after the approval of there nomination.

i want to know why immi request documents again. If someone already attached with their nomination like BAS, bank statements & tax return. What they gonna seek from tax returns, BAS & bank statements. One of my friend been asked by immi these documents. Plz. Reply if anyone knows. Thanks.

They financial year has been changed. So they have to provide everything new.

I applied in Nov 2014 and got my Nom approved in April 2015 and still waiting for the visa...it just depend on the CO...

You can't check your nomination status. MA's are not allowed to disclose the documents related to your employer. They can only tell you verbally that your nomination is been approved. Nobody can give you information about your nomination except your MA and if you try to call Immigration then they will tell you to ask from your MA.

Hey guys I Called immi that and she told me that after submitting my request documents my file had been look back on 7 sep do now case officer looking at my file so it can be any time may be days ,weeks , months

The looked at my file in April and now I am still waiting.

Don't worry..just what going to happen will happen now for will happen later as well. I really don't even check my status coz I know that as soon as they are going to open my file I will get an email straight away...

Do you guys think that are the informations given through the phone by the department regarding file open dates are accurate?When it is told that 'the file is going to open soon or in couple of weeks' would it really open in that time frame?

Nah I don't think so coz even my CO didn't even mentioned when it's going to open, this the email for her...

I got an email from my case office saying that it's still in process and will be finalised asap..

Allocating file doesn't mean that your file is going to open in straight away, it means that your file is in the line and been allotted to a CO. Then you don't know which number are you. Coz my file got allocated in May and I am still waiting for the result.

When I last called immi department,I have been told that my file is allocated to a case officer again and it is due to late September,my question is if there is anyway to learn when my file is opened before finalised?

As soon as they open your file, they send a email to your MA telling them that your file is been opened.
