Hey Bikerboy, may I know when did you first time apply your AFP check? Why it's expired so soon and how long it last? I think probably I may be facing the same problem as yours that is AFP check expired.

I applied for my AFP first when I applied my 187 with a different employer in last year May. Then I left that employer coz of personal reason. Then applied 187 again last year in November, so I submitted the same AFP as I was thinking that my file will open within few months( as my first file was opened within 4months).

And yeah CO called my MA in the morning saying that he is going to give decision today and need to call my employer just to confirm that the position is still available and then just after 5mins I had my Grant letter with me.

I wish everyone will get there visa soon... I know wait is depressing but one is for sure that whatever is going to happen will happen so stay calm and hopefully everything will workout for everyone. Peace [emoji111]

I hope is the last doc that asked from you and get your visa quickly. For me they just asked the experience that ma forget upload but this was on July. Then nothing heard both for nomination and visa

They gave me the last date for my visa which is 19 of November...but I have already submitted the document and sent it to his personal email address.

I am waiting from last year Nov but team 7...last document submitted yesterday asked by my CO..

Is team 2 one of those slow teams?

I have submitted my AFP yesterday... I got altogether 5 offences on it but non of them are criminal... I think I am going to get my visa soon...

Yes me too can't see that link anymore as it shows that it's been finalised. But I know there is a way by which you can do your medical but I don't suggest you to do that coz it may delay your application more. So now you just have to sent an email to your MA asking for new HAP ID coz your medical is expired, let see what he says in that case.

Tell your MA to send an email telling your whole situation to your CO that you are still waiting for your Nomination. Coz most of the times they just grant Nomination and Visa together, so he might be just waiting for the payment and will approve your both the files together. Who knows what your case officer is thinking. But at least ask your CO, he or she is the only one who can give you the best answer for your situation.

Go in your immigration account there you can get your Hap ID.

Really appreciated your reply. Co also asked for SVAC. I gonna pay for that but Co didn't send any invoice so I can pay for SVAC. Still waiting for my nomination approval.

Don't pay for anything till the time you are sure that you are going to get your visa otherwise everything will going to go in the bin. Happened with me once before I applied for this application.

would like to ask one question. My MA sent my AFP by mail to my CO. But when I logged in my immi account I can see only my previous AFP received not the newone. Anybody has any idea about this. Thanks guys

When they ask for more documents then you send it to them on there personal email and they just keep it with your other documents.

can they extend medicals as well? my medicals expired on aug 21 2015 my MA requested to extend the medicals validity will the immi accept the request at all?

It depends on the case officer. But don't just leave it like that if you can then get another medical done so that you can save your time, otherwise they will tell you to do another medical which will take more time. Better to do everything again beforehand.

Last week my MA contacted with the department regarding the reason of the delay of my case . My file has been allocated to Team 1 and today he got a response from the department as below;

 

" The department is still waiting on the resolution of some internal checks on the information last provided to us by you.

 

You can contact me directly in future rather than through our group mailbox as I am taking this matter out of our collective case management system. This means that as soon as there is anything to report I will be in touch.

Should I take this e-mail as a sign that a decision would be made regarding my application very soon or I should keep waiting patient...If anyone has any idea what would happen next ,will be much appreciated... @bikerboy070707 please read mate...

It appears that because I neglected to include a request for the AFP clearance to be provided within 28 days, you have leapt to the conclusion that processing of the checks will be continuing for the foreseeable future. I do apologise for this oversight. This is not the case at all.

I can confirm that the checks are now nearly complete and that the only outstanding item remaining at this time is a new Australian Federal Police clearance for Mr Me.

Mr R did provide an AFP clearance which had been issued on 26 May 2014, but under current departmental policy, I am not able to extend the validity of this certificate for more than 3 months. This means that its validity expired on 26 August 2015.

Therefore, in order to allow me to finalise your client’s visa application as quickly as possible, it would be much appreciate if you can make arrangements for him to obtain a new Australian Federal Police clearance. Please arrange for this police clearance to be sent to me as soon as it is received.

You are requested to provide the above item within 28 days – that is, by 19 November 2015. A decision may be made on this application if the requested information has not been provided by this date.

I dont think there is any phone number,but you can ring on 131881 i have spent around 90 mins on hold and finally someone has answered she has taken my TRN details and personal details and advised me to email to nsw pse, i asked her to give a update on status but she politely denied and said to email.

 

May be they were getting too many calls regarding visa updates?

According to the immigration, if you have appointed a MA then they won't give you any information regarding the process of your application. And they are not even going to answer your questions through emails as well. So better ask your MA to ask anything on behalf of you.

Important information for the people who have been waiting for there visa more then Immigration timeframe.

A week back I called immigration and told the operator that I applied for my visa and nomination together on 14th of November 2014, with Nomi approved on 29th of April 2015. And it's going to be 11 months soon and I am already loosing my hope and my future plans gone blurry. So he checked into my file and says that my file is complete and he don't know the reason what is happening with my file, so he called where my file is allocated in WA team 7(while I was holding the line). After a while he told me that my CO said that if you have MA then you don't need to contact yourself and tell your MA to send a email to them on there general email address, stating URENT TO TEAM 7 and rest of the details. When I called my MA the next day, he already received an email from my case office saying that my APC is expired and need to send them the new one, but the email from the immigration was not official, so my MA sent him an email again asking him to send and official email and in that he should give me 28days to give result on my case and also give the reason why my file is getting delayed.

So today my MA received an official email from Immigration asking for my APC within 28days.
