  1. Hey, Right under your upload information (where it shows all the files you've added) there is a little paragraph talking about what you need to do to get your medicals. Once the Dr. has uploaded your medicals this will change to say: "Meeting the health requirementHealth has been finalized for this person for this visa subclass based on the information provided to the department. If this person needs to do anything further to meet the health requirement, they will be contacted by the department. There is no need to contact the department at this time concerning this matter." This is how you know the medicals have been uploaded. You can then call the clinic and ask for a copy of your E medical transcript and all the clinic records to be sent to you. You may have to sign a release of information form.
  2. It simply means that the clinic where the exams were performed uploaded the exam results. The doctor who performed the exams will give a rating for your health and that will trigger a review from the immigration end depending on the results. Your doctor will likely give you a copy of the results. I got copies for my entire family from the clinic and we were all given A heath ratings.
  3. Yup for the kids under 16yo it's pretty easy and straight forward.
  4. It's pretty sweet that they've been processing all the way up through Jan 15th! Any time now. I am awful at waiting, Good luck to us all!
  5. Hey, Just to easy your mind about the IELTS, if you're a native English speaker you won't have a problem at all. I didn't look at any study material, wasn't aware of the format and had no idea what to expect when I got there and my lowest score was 8.5/9. It's really very easy. If you have the time to study I certainly would put some time in but just so you're aware, it's a fairly simple test just to see if you get the basics.
  6. I actually added myself and then hit the update button. I think there is a moderator that manages the list, but you can add yourself.
  7. OMG you guys! Could time possibly be moving any slower? I keep watching this page and seeing the updates. Its encouraging to see folks from the end of DEC getting direct grants now. Won't be long..... but feels like an eternity. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkrdCphtU8u-dGJQSWROUlZ0bThIaUF2VW9zdUZmMlE&usp=sharing#gid=277
  8. Hey Ninny, I have seen a few posts where people talk about the form 80. From what I can gather it is not always required and can depend on your CO. Others have said that it's worth it to go ahead and fill it out and submit it just in case so that it doesn't slow you down in any way by not having it. I went ahead and filled one out for myself, wife and oldest child. It is a bit$h of a form. It asks to list every job you've ever had since birth, every school you've ever attended (including primary schools) and to list pretty much every relative you have as well. I have a huge family (9 siblings) and we moved a lot so it took some time to complete. I just figured I'd err on the side of caution and have it filled out and front loaded. Good luck.
  9. Hi guys, We also submitted our application on the 13th. All docs were front loaded except FBI and medicals. The FBI report came and I loaded it today. We have the medicals being done for the entire family on March 2nd and 3rd. Can't wait! Now we're just working on the houses, trying to get them ready to list for sale once the PRV comes in. Congrats to all of you on getting to this point! We are looking at settling in the Sunshine Coast are of Queensland. Where are you all headed?
  10. Congrats on your invite! Hopefully the hard part is over! I've been doing my happy dance for the last couple of days (not something you want to see). I am a Doctor of Chiropractic. My wife and I really like the Sunshine Coast area so I think we'll start looking in that region initially. We're bringing 4 kids with us so we want to be in a sunny area (a big change from Oregon USA) with a lot of beach activities and good schools.
  11. I don't know if this thread is still active but YEAH!!! My invite was in my email this morning when I woke up! We're so excited! Good luck to ya'll
  12. Hi Shelz, I have lodged an EOI for myself and family. We are hoping to get an invite on Feb 13th!!! We've managed to claim 85 points so maybe we'll hear something on this round. I agree, it did take a long time to get to this point and we're pretty excited about the possibility of moving to Australia. We're Americans, not Poms. Hopefully that won't be held against us!
