Dear all, Could anyone please share experience and knowledge in the following aspect: I have uploaded my visa on the 12th of May and CO was allocated on the 12th of June with the request to upload evidence of functional English of my spouse. My spouse had exam on IELTS on the 10th of July and results were available on the 24th of July. This exact day i uploaded into immiaccount the requested document. How long might it take now to receive any feedback? I want to start making preparations for out departure, hence wait impatiently for my visa to be granted. Visa is 489, NT, EOI 75p... I have written to my CO but no reply till now... How long more might it take? It is almost two weeks now! In June i received a following reply from my CO: "I note that you have provided evidence that you are in the process of attending to the requirements. While a specific extension of time to submit the outstanding documentation cannot be granted, I have marked your file for review in late July 2015." Thanks in advance,

Hello dear Bungo, You seem to be competent in a matter of information regarding timeline for visa 489. Could you please share your knowledge how to count 3 months’ time interval. I lodged my visa on the 12th of May, PC are done and my medicals are submitted on the 5th of June. I hope that (All health examinations required for the specified visa subclass have been finalised- info on immiaccount) means that it is submitted. Best regards

My timeline is the following: on 22nd of February applied for NT SS 190 visa, on the 6th of March I received an acknowledgement, 8 weeks processing time, finally received a positive feedback (visa 489) on the 1st of May. EOI lodged on the 1st of April, 75 points. Invitation to apply for visa came on the 4th of May. Applied for visa on the 12th of May…. Good luck!

Is it very expensive to have a nanny? Can you say anything about a waitlist to daycares and peschools?

We are planning to move to Darwin in October 2015. So far my research has showed that a queue to preschools and daycares is approximately 1-2 years. My husband and I wanted to be both employed in order to support normally a household. We stuck with a problem… what we can do with kids (2 and 4 years old). Is the only option for a start that only one member of the family works and the other takes care of kids at home? Does anyone have the same problem, how did you solve it? Is it possible to register kids to a daycare before a visa is granted? How long are queues to preschools and daycares in reality? Please share your experience,

Lodged my EOI with 75 points on the 1st of April, NT SS on the 1st of my, invitation on the 4th of May.

In my acknowledgment it was said that processing time is 8 weeks. I received a feedback exactly by the end of the 8th week. So most probably you will have to wait 3 weeks more. Most probably you will receive a positive feedback. Good luck!

Hi everyone, I would like to ask a few questions regarding accommodation and preschool. Is it possible to rent a flat prior to our arrival? We are intending to receive a visa in Sept-October, is it possible to register a kid in preschool (4 year old) before visa is granted? How did you find an apartment, through agent or from homeland (online)? We are moving with two kinds (2 and 4 years old), will we have problems with registering them into preschool and childcare. How long does it take? Maybe someone can suggest area for living, where it is safe and calm! Thanks in advance

Updating my status...I applied on the 22nd of February for 190 visa , 6th of May - acknowledgent, 1st of May result. I received 489 visa. Happiest person ever. My occupation is finance manager.

Please share your experience in this matter. I received a positive SS from NT. Now I should sign a declaration. Is digital signature be sufficient or I should sigh it with a pan and then scan it? Please give advice. Do they accept digital signatures?

I must receive a reply from NT very soon. Maybe on the 1st of May, maybe next week. As soon as I get a feedback then could possibly suggest something.
