Hi! We wherein the same situation. 189 now granted, date of entry 6 months from the medicals. if you prefer to give birth and then go to Oz then I would suggest wait to do the MEDS until after birth

Hi jupiter! we should have indeed waited for the MEDS but we were confident that the entry would have been one year after MEDS or pcc (July 2015) We looked into going to Oz to validate and go all together.... Price is £7000!!!! I feel kind of stuck at the moment!

yes they are aware of the pregnancy and of the due date.... Baby will need to apply for a child visa if born in the uk, which is not that difficult to obtain once the parents have the visa themselves....

Hi nearlythere1! We thought about doing that but, a part from the very expensive tickets, because I was pregnant during the medicals I could not have X-rays so I had to fill in a form where I am obliged to prove I have no tb within the first 4 weeks after my first entry in Oz..... Which makes it impossible as I don't have enough holidays to stay that long..... i feel a bit stuck at the moment!!!

Hello everybody! We are in a bit of a predicament.... We applied for the 189 visa and then found out I was pregnant with our third baby! We have been granted the visa last Tuesday and given date of entry by 24th of February 2015, one week beofore the due date! We thought that usually the entry date is after one year from the medicals or pcc, whichever is earlier..... So it came to us as a bit of a shock. we would prefer to have the baby in the UK as it makes life much much easier..... We emailed our CO and hope for a positive answer.... Any further advice? Thanks

My husband and I are moving to Oz in January. He has been looking for work as a civil engineer from here but so for he is struggling to find companies which might suit him and/ or positions which my work for his experience Do you have any advice on agencies or other online ways in order to concentrate his job search? Thanks!!!

Yes I did mean that!!!! My MEDS were done in July too and my pcc but my entry is February for whatever reason!!!!! Plenty of time for you then!!!! Good luck!!!!!

:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:Finally!!!! Visa granted today!!! Great news..... Although we have a very tight entry, 24th of February... And I am pregnant due mid February!!!! Does anyone know why entry must be so soon??? Pcc and medicals were all done in July!!! never mind... We gotta go!!!!

We we did upload every single document without been skied and did the medicals as well.

Hi! On your immi account there are lots of documents they request but not all of them are necessary. So if you are jot claiming points for your spouse (you) you don't have to provide anything more than brith certificate, passport, medicals, pcc, wedding certificate (or similar) and proof of English if necessary Hope this helps

They send emails during their office hours which are during our night and morning, so I think you can stop checking emails after breakfast..... Today I think all the emails are gone out and we might hear some hung back on Monday night, early morning! Have a good relaxing weekend everyone!
