Sorry about confusing everyone. I didn't really read the thread's name and simply posted a question. I am new to this:). I lodged my application in JULY, not in September. Skilled Independent (Subclass 189) ​ IELTS 16/5/14 - L 8.5 - R 9.0 - W 8.0 - S 8.5 Applied Visa on 18 July 2014. CO assigned on 14 Oct 2014. Medical and Form 80 submitted on 21st Oct 2014.

MY CO just asked me to submit medical and form 80. Is there usually anything else after this. I don't have an agent. I am doing it all by myself. So just wondering what else is left. Also, what are the chances of rejection if any?

Hey guys, I am starting to upload documents now and have a couple of questions. I don't have an agent and could use help. It's asking me to upload evidence of birth. Does it have to be birth certificate or can it be my passport or high school certificate/mark sheet? What are travel document? Why do I need to upload those? Evidence of charatcer - Should I upload this now or wait for the case officer to ask for it? I don't have my country's character certificate but I have one from Australia.

well, the reason I don't have bank statements is because I was mostly free-lancing or part time. I have my hours but the money was cash and I didn't pay any taxes. I am just worried that they would decline the experience. Have you heard of cases where people get approved with just employment documents like experience letters , offer letters and project communication records. I have all of that and even have references.

I don't really have the bank statements anymore. Is it really important? Can I not apply my VISA without them?

I guess i will try the same thing. An agent is too expensive here. Thanks for the response. I just had one quick question, I was starting the application and there was an option of nationat identification document. I have a driver's license. does that count as the national identification document?

Hi, i see that a lot of you guys have already lodged your applications. i just got my invitation this week. I do not have an agent and am trying to lodge the application myself. You think its a good idea or should I hire a agent to get this done?
