  1. Hi I need advice please. I am currently a Principal at an elementary school in Canada. I am a Canadian citizen but was born and studied in South Africa. (We immigrated to Canada 5 years ago, but it has been a nightmare - minus 52 degrees C is not fun if you come from Africa...) My family and I would like to immigrate to WA. The only way that I will have enough points is if I apply for State nomination. Can anyone tell me how long this process takes. I have not yet registered with the WA College of Teachers. Should I do that first? Will I be able to apply for State nomination without a job? If not, how difficult is it to get a job if I live in Canada? I am doing my IELTS in July, my previous one has expired. I do know that I do not need that for immigration, as I am a Canadian citizen, I will however need it to register as a teacher. We are keen to move to Bunbury (my son is one of Canada's top 10 swimmers in his age group, and I know they have an excellent swimming program) I would appreciate any suggestions. Kind regards,
