  1. @fiana the job offer must be submitted at the time of putting in the visa application, so once Skillselect have given the invite to apply, you get 28 days (as you mentioned in your PM) to submit your visa application with the offer in place. Crazy!!!!!!
  2. I feel your worry, I am just about to submit my skills assessment for my nominated occupation as a sports centre manager. My worry is the next stage which is submitting the EOI to skillselect. Not sure how long the EOI takes but once I get an invite to submit the visa application, you only get 60 days before that invite becomes void, I think you get a second chance before its taken off the system but I also have to give a 12 month job offer at that time. Its been stressing me out big time!! Its so difficult trying to get someone to give you that commitment. I have been pulling my hair out thinking about how difficult its going to be.
  3. Thanks Roxy 1990 and if you know anyone over there who needs a hard working centre manager please let me know LOL Also thanks kapildeverampu for your advice. I have emailed and contacted as many people as I possibly can but they all pretty much want someone who has the right to live and work in WA to even consider giving a job offer and as there is no guarantees that my visa will be granted, they are reluctant to give me the offer. NIGHTMARE!!!!!!
  4. You need a job offer if your occupation is on schedule list 2 which mine is. Gutted ha
  5. Apparently so @kapildeverampu This is why I am asking to see if anyone has been asked about this by Western Australia. It came into play December 2013. It worries me as you only get 60 days from being invited by Skillselect to submitting the visa application!!!
  6. Has anyone who has lodged a 190 visa application in 2014 came across needing to have a full time job offer for state sponsorship to be granted? Any help or advise would be great Sorry, I didn't think my first reply had gone on!!!
  7. Has anyone who lodged a 190 visa application in 2014 needed to have a full time job offer for state sponsorship? This came into place in December 2013 (I believe)
  8. great to read about the waiting times, at least I will know what to expect. I am just about to submit my skills assessment so am along way off but I have been worried about the new criteria WA have for state sponsorship. I believe a 12 month job offer is needed before the state will sponsor, I am concerned that once an invite is given from Skillselect you get 60 days to submit the visa application before the EOI becomes void. has anyone come across any problems with this? Good luck to everyone who is waiting
