Hi, We've just been granted our residency from 489, applied in September and it was granted on 17 March. immi website is now saying 7 to 10 months processing, it's a long wait but worth it. just make sure you submit over and above what they ask for, we did and we didn't get asked for any extra info just got the grant. ???

Hi, we've just completed our 2 year regional on 489 and lodged for 887 pr. I know a few people that have done this and it's taken about 5 months to be granted. Hope that helps.

We'd been waiting ages! We submitted on 3rd January, got CO 17th January and on 3rd Feburary we was asked for further information, we submitted the further information and then got told that due to planning levels etc would have to wait until July. Got the grant today - VERY HAPPY! I'm sure yours will come soon, it is all moving again now.

Hi all, Well 1st July is just next week and hopefully our visa will be granted as they stopped granting 489 because of planning levels. Anyone else waiting and feeling anxious! We've been waiting since March!

Hi Claire, Congratulations. The 60 days in just to lodge your visa. Once you get your CO assigned they will ask you to do medicals and police checks. I'm not sure about the documents, depends on what visa you've applied for. I had an agent do mine so not quite sure what needs to be loaded. I'm just waiting for my visa to be granted now.

Hi, We are with Team 33 in Brisbane on a SS 489 visa, received the same email, uploaded extra documents on 4th March and now just waiting. Our CO is A K We lodged 6th January, CO assigned 17th February and requested copy of new passport for my son (as it expired in March), uploaded new passport 4th March and we have been told no extra documents requried, apparently visa is "in progress" but it is just a waiting game now. Our agent said we may have to wait until new allocation begins in July. Thanks

Tigerbalm, our meds were uploaded early February but we was asked for 1 extra document on 3rd March, we are still waiting. What visa are you applying for?

I'm with team 33, A K is my CO. Uploaded extra documents on 4th March, received email regarding planning levels on Friday 21st March, now just waiting. HATE WAITINGAnyone else had experience with this CO?
