  1. Thanks very much. yea my passport is stamped labeling "immigration arrived". I was curious if i missed to complete an extra process to complete first entry. Now i see theres nothing much to worry about.
  2. Hello All I have made my first entry to australia last week. Now I returned back to my homeland. I will wait for another year to move. How can I check if my first entry rule is satisfied? I am checking it from vevo and it still writes there that I should make first entry before december.
  3. Hello everybody How do you receive your visa grant letter? Is it a physical letter? I was granted permanent residency 2 months ago. All I did get is a soft grant letter emailed to me. The electronic visa section at immi web site is bugging me. It writes: "We will send you a visa grant notification letter if we grant you a visa. This letter will explain the conditions of the visa, including any entry requirements. You should keep this letter with your passport when you travel to and from Australia. Keep it in a safe place when you are not travelling" If we have to keep that letter in safe place then the letter should be hardcopy or smth having a signature on it. Right now I dont worry about my grant letter because its just an email and I can print it as much as I want.
  4. Thank you all for the information. There is no specific condition written in our grant letter so i assume we do not need to worry about the order of our first entrance to australia.
  5. My bad.. sorry I remember someone saying that ACS speed up processes if you have time limitation. But it doesnt apply in this case
  6. You can simply say that you worked full time and they paid cash money to you. They will still require defacto letter from the company if they have paid you in cash. Its still a great risk tough. You wouldnt want to be refused.
  7. Just ask your CO if he/she can provide extra time. By the way if you acknowledge the skills assesment association about your visa time boundary, they will speed up the process
  8. Hello All We (me, wife, children) have gained permanent residenct 2 months ago. My question is, is it possible for me to move to sydney next month and my family joins me a few months later? You know there is a time limit to validate the visa which is the end of this year for my case. I wonder if all of us should appear at the airport at the same time for validation? I am the primary applicant by the way
  9. Hello, Me, my wife and our two children recently got the 190 visa. we need to go to Oz land before 12th of november. However we have to leave the kids behind. It will be very hard to settle down while having the kids with us. We plan to bring them to australia 2-3 years later. Would it be enough if we take their passports with us while making the first entry and show their passports in the airport to satisfy the first entry rule?
  10. All of your questions have clear answers in the web site of ACS. You better carefully check the web site. Dont forget that the CO will ask for valid documents to proove your work experience. Pay slips, taxation papers, bank accounts or anything. If you dont have any of them, you take a great risk.
  11. When visa is granted, you will be given a time to complete your first entry. First entry time should be before medicals or pcc expires. (which one expires first) Both documents are valid for 1 year. Its better to provide them when requested so you will have more time to satisfy first entry reqrement.
  12. If your degree is equivalent of an Australian degree, you will be considered skilled after two years of full time work after graduation. After achieving skilled, the rest of the work experience is considered as skilled. In your case you have 3 years of skilled work experience. EOI calculates your skilled work experience for the works you claim for points and double check them using the ACS letter. Be very carefull for overstating points. You can not claim points for the work till you grant skilled label. You may loose lots of money and time if you claim points for the time 2009 to 2011.
  13. Dave, As I posted in a different thread, a letter from the university stating that the medium of language in the program is enough. You have to provide your wife's diploma, transcript and the letter i stated.
  14. Hello You must keep in mind that the CO's have a check list to complete. Proof of functional english is part of the check list. A diploma simply is not enough to satisfy the check list. A formal letter from the student desk of the university stating the medium of language tought in that program would be sufficent to complete the check list.
