So happy to say my visa was granted today!!!!! I never thought this day would come! My timeline: Rcb lodged in July took about 6 weeks I had to chase up. Nomination took 2 weeks to be approved. Visa lodged on 18th Oct Perth Office Granted 6/2/2014!!!!!!

Hi was wondering if anyone can offer help or advice. applied for a 187 visa 3 months ago...haven't heard anything from immi or been allocated a CO. Medical and everything done. Called up today and checked the status and they said my bridging visa has been granted - no idea what this means and I haven't been notified. i am currently defacto on a 457 visa which doesn't expire any time soon. What does the bridging visa mean??
