I have posted before. My name is Kirsty and I live in the UK with my partner and our 3 year old son. We are both in our late twenties.
I am a qualified adult nurse, I qualified in August last year. My other half is a pipefitter, he completed an apprenticeship in Heating and ventilation at level 3 and is a fully licensed gas safe gas fitter also here in the UK. We have no idea how his skills transfer (if they do) over in Australia, there's alot of confusing info on internet. I read that he could have his skills assessed by TRA, but just wondered if anyone knew or had any info? I only have very little post qualifying experience however my other half has worked in his profession for nearly 10 years and wondered if this would appear more attractive in respect of visa application.Excuse my ignorance about all this!
