  1. Ah glad you going! Definitely avoid aspirin until you know what the cause is
  2. You will end up with rebound headaches from all the pain killers on top of the headaches you already have. Please see your GP - at least then you will know for certain and there are other medications that could help you! I'm going to leave it there now good luck!
  3. Ps don't take three paracetamol - just two!
  4. Hi I'm a doctor - whilst your are right common things are common so probably nothing alarming but you really do need to go to your gp ASAP to be assessed and examined - I don't want you to panic but I really want you to seek medical advice! Good luck!
  5. Hi congratulations on reaching this stage Yes you can do police check and medical before co - we did and this May speed things up. I'm in Adelaide but I'm not sure about your jobs sorry - poms in Adelaide may have some people who know though if you ask there! Congrats again and hope the next stage is speedy for you
  6. There is a form on the SLC website about moving overseas - you show how you intend to financially survive and they then decide how much you pay. In this case as long as there is proof that she will still be a student then I'm sure it would be held off until she has finished - they've given my husband and I 8 months without repayment and then to reassess when sorted with jobs etc. don't get me wrong I'm making it sound more straight forward than the conversations I tried to have with them haha! I'd advise just asking them to send the form and then fill in and then let them assess as I found nobody I spoke to really knew what would happen - though maybe I was unlucky - but once we just filled in the forms it was very easy to sort!
  7. Our 189 visa took about 4 months to complete all together - 3 of those was for the skills assessment and then the last bit went through really quick - think my husband was quite quick on getting medicals etc before asked though so think that helped and probably a bit of luck too I imagine! We came based on him being a teacher! Hope your plans work out well and quickly for you
  8. Ah good luck with it all - hope all works out well
  9. We used go Matilda and were always very happy with them but that was from the uk - I think they do have offices in austalia too though
  10. We used go Matilda for our 189 visa - always communicated well and quickly! Would definitely recommend them. Good luck!
  11. Depending on how old your child is they may need some extra immunisations e.g. Hep b and varicella but you can get them done when you arrive. Also I think you have to be on a permanent visa for the rebate - not sure what you are on. We arrived 3 months ago and still waiting to hear from centrelink! So just register as soon as you arrive and you should get it back payed - fingers crossed!
  12. I'm not sure but I wouldn't have thought it would be long - have you had your police check done too? We already had those things attached and so the case officer was assigned and visa granted the same day so I imagine as long as they don't need any extra info it would be soon - though I don't know if they have a Christmas break! Not sure that was any help sorry! Good luck!
  13. Thanks Hallie3000 - it's really useful to hear lots of different opinions good or bad so thanks for taking the time to tell me about your experiences and sorry to hear that for you. Thanks again
