  1. Hi Richard, Sorry to hear about you're troubles. They are scumbags,no doubt about it and no doubt in the process of catching countless more people out. The first thing you need to do is stake you're claim with the liquidators,'Hall Chadwick',the contact details are on a previous post on this thread. Also you should contact MARA in Australia, google it,they are the authority that all migration agents are registered with for their licence to practice.they are well aware of ASA and their actions I can assure you. To be in with any chance of recouperating any cash you must speak to the liquidators,I have many times now and they will listen and talk to you and tell you whats happening etc.The case is still in the process as of course ASA isn't playing ball with the Liquidators, but they will be made by law sooner or later to do so and comply with the investigation. Hope this is of some help to you.
  2. Hi, two I know of are, Victoria university and Vetasses which I did mine through, both are for skills assessments,I believe their easier to deal with too than TRA was. They both do trades so check their website to see if you're trade is on it. Best of luck
  3. Hi sunshinecatcher hat's bad of you're employer and not you're fault, hope it works out good for you. hi Minch23 when did you apply?
  4. Hi all , anyone lodged a 187 recently? Interested to know how long its taking people to get a Case officer appointed in Perth these days.
  5. Hi All Happy new year everyone. I would just like to bump up this post as I've found out ASA consultants are still doing people over. They operate as 'Amalgamated Solutions Australia' 'ASA' these days and are still up to their usual antics. I've contacted the liquidators again and the investigation is still ongoing. There is a lot of people owed a lot of cash but we have to wait for the liquidators to finish their investigations to find out where we stand. Hopefully there might be assets that can be realised as they emptied the cash from the accounts before their 'voluntary' liquidation stunt. Note to moderators: Would it be possible to change this thread to the title ASA ? Reason being anyone who searches the forum to find out this information can't find it under its current heading. Thanks.
  6. Thanks All for the help there guys and explaining that.they don't make it easy do they ! Cheers
  7. Thanks blossom, not sure what you mean by bridging visa A, being cancelled? Is that the 457 you're talking about? cheers
  8. Hi, Does anyone know what happens if someone left their employer and had their 457 visa cancelled, after they already had a PR application lodged? I presume you get a bridging visa to stay on in OZ? Or do you have to leave? If so is it a work visa? To work for anyone? Cheers.
  9. Hi Alan, Just seen your'e question here now. The agents In force when I was communication with them were Emmanuel Solana,MARA reg now lapsed it seems and also Humberto Jose Hernache Sanchez, or Humberto Hernache on their site.He is still MARA registered and is now Director of the new company name running the site and doing the buisness but not refunding anyone!Oh they just changed the front pace now but when you log in it is all Identical. Regards, Ger.

  11. Hi all Has anyone got experience with getting a skills assesment done using an Austrslian AQF 3 gained through RPL? It seems that TRA and Vetasess have slightly different criteria. My question is do Vetasess recognise it? TRA make it a lot harder if using an RPL cert. Thanks.
  12. Sorry can't reccoment anyone, but steer well clear of 'ASA' Amalgamated Solutions Australia. Flash website but are total gangsters.
  13. Fair play, you have them sussed out!
  14. Hi All, Does anybody know if the changes to 457 visas where you must find another sponsor within 30 days, (condition 8107 I think) of leaving you're sponsor have changed for those of us on 457 visas granted before this July. I know it's changed to 90 days for new 457 visas granted but not sure if that change coveres all older 457's aswell? Thanks
