  1. do u think its best for me to delete this thread
  2. I am sure there are other people out there in the same boat as me? I am sure I am not the only overstayer in Australia?
  3. I have applied tru a registered agent who said there maybe a 50/50 chance but I am not very hopeful. But fingers and toes are crossed
  4. Hi Chris what was your situation please share some insight to a fellow pom
  5. Hi guys, application lodged today as I couldn't wait any longer as I have been very sick over this situation, the stress and strain is tearing me apart. I will let u all know what my faith is to be. Thanks to everyone who has giving me some insight/advice
  6. Hi Alan, I suspected that the fee payable to the agent would be high but i tought $9,000 was really high, I suppose its a price that must be payed for being unlawful. Just wondering if u have ever heard a case like this before and if the outcome was successful? Kind Regards
  7. Hi blossom i have emailed George and am waiting a reply, i will call him tomorrow if there is no reply by email. Was your husband caught or did he leave on his own will?
  8. Thanks for all the replies everyone as u can imagine I am in a horrible situation that I brought upon myself. I have seen someone in the same situation as myself on another blog but has been updated since 2012. The person there states That they have found a agent willing to put there application forward for the sum of $9,000. I am now wondering if some agents have ties with officers from the DIAC That waiver some cases as this amount seems so corrupt
  9. Thanks pom Queen. have u ever heard of a situation like this before. I am expecting the worst of course, I am willing to try and pay a agent but its not looking to good for me is it. It will be so hard to leave the land that I love so much but hey that's my own stupid fault for being young, Naïve, and stupid
  10. Ross I didn't know at the time that my visa had expired believe it or not, you see I had a 12 month tourist visa and I foolishly thought that if I left the country once during my 12 month visa (to witch I did on the 3rd month of my visa for 3 weeks) that my visa would be still valid. I only realised that u must leave the country after 6 months to renew your visa for another 6 months. I was that excited at the time of been granted it that I never even looked into the rules of the tourist visa, hence why I am in this situation at the moment.
  11. has anybody out there heard of a situation like this or even being in one?
  12. Hi Stormy thanks for replying to my post. I will be sure to look up those agents as we speak. The agent I found online quoted my $5,000. I know its a long shot and I cant be garneted anything but I am hopeful. Any thing has got to be better than these sleepless nights.
  13. Hi Everyone, let me start by saying please don't judge me as I know I am wrong but I have overstayed my tourist Visa by several months. My partner whom I have been with for 4 years is currently on a 457 sponsorship visa,he has been on this visa for 14 months. when he was lodging the application the migration agent told him it would be much quicker if he lodged his application solo as his previous visa was expiring and then add me on at a later date. His visa took several months to be accepted and by that time it was to late for me to be added as I had already overstayed my visa. Let me again state that I in no way condone this I am living in fear the last couple of months just waiting for a knock on my door, but what can I do? The uk has nothing to offer us as the country is in a poor state at the moment and I don't have any immediate family. I finally contacted a agent who told me I might be able to be added onto my partners visa. Apparently this will cost a small fortune and the chance is only 50/50. I am in limbo
