losing faith

hi sonicblue82 and amy rose, i feel very much for you guys. i know the nightmare that you are going throu. we had a CO for near 2 months and we like you guys we didnt have any contact at all from her. we even sent 2 very polite E MAILS. and that was equally fruitless. so this is what we did. when immi sent us E MAIL telling us we had CO , they gave us her name and E MAIL address and her direct contact phone number. so my wife being the main visa applicant waited untill midnight uk time, wich would be 9 in the morn in sydney and she rang up and got throu directly to our CO, and just politely told our CO , how long we had been waiting and that we were a little worried as what the hold up was, CO was fine and asked if we had sent police checks and medicals, that we had, she asked for our TRN number and said every thing looked 2 be in order and that the medicals had been held up. and she then said she would E MAIL wife back that same night, 45 minutes later PR was granted . we could not beleive it. i wonder now that if we had not made that call im sure we would still be sat waiting and checking our E MAILS every day and pulling our hair out, why not do the same thing yourselves? as they say the squeeky wheel gets the oil, just be polite and have any info you think they may ask at hand ,ie passport no ,TRN no ect, good luck and dont be afraid to phone, they are only human and ours did not seem to mind, WE flying out next thursday the 18 th and so exited. hope this helps cheers. :biglaugh: hi 2 day is our big day applied oct 24 th 2012, nomination approved may 13 th, visa grant today, paramatta centre, phoned CO in the early hours uk time this morning because , had a CO from april 23 rd, and had no contact at all,one hour later PR granted, cant beleive it, going to TEAR THE ASS out of it tonight, thank god. best of luck for all you guys still waiting :smile::chatterbox:

hi welshpod and sonicblue82, nice 2 c you guys got room for me in the boat, we have had a CO now for 6 weeks, and not had any word from it yet, got the nommination 3 weeks back , only found out about the nommi throu the employer in oz, have E mailed CO 2 times now not had any reply from them:arghh: ignorant, i think . busy or not would not take a few minutes too put us in the picture as whats going on, its just a complete ball ache and dont know when its going to end, :realmad:

hi judith501 . im with you was wondering the same thing myself, as we applied oct 24 th 2012 day after your friend, and much like your friend we got our CO on 23 rd april, we are at paramatta centre, may i ask at what centre your friend is waiting on? im geting so:arghh:with it all. Dont know what can be done other than wait around and hope they sort things out quick, hope we all hear something soon and let me know if your friend gets lucky cheers :realmad::realmad::realmad:

we had our nomination approved monday 13 th may, and had a CO now from 22 nd april, i had no communication at all from CO, only got too know about nomination throu employer, visa application waiting time for us is 7 months tomorrow , hope all sorted very soon, but who knows.

hi judith501 , firstly good luck 2 your friends and i hope they get PR granted ASAP, i think they would have 2 inform the CO coz any change of address must be made 2 the visa app, tell your friends not 2 hold their breath as i have been waiting now for coming up 7 months on 24th may, i do have a CO but they dont seem 2 know they have me, you say you are in canberra, that is where me and my family are hoping 2 end up, we went for hol last year and its a great place, anyway hope ya friends get lucky soon. cheers

hi blossom79 looks 2 me that you have a wide and general sort of knowledge on all this visa stuff, other than my CO being ill or on holiday, is my situation of having a CO for some weeks now without contact. is this something that you have come across on other ocassions? coz from what i know 95 people in every 100 ,have contact within ten working days, trust my luck being one of the 5 who dont. if you were in my position at what point would you make your next move with DIAC? and what action would one take? as im sure you can understand one can only take so much and some answers from immigration are my priority. cheers

hi hrbrt372 sorry 2 hear about your situation, sounds bloody stupid 2 me that they want you 2 sit the IELTS all over again, at the end of the day you passed it in 2009 you more than competent in english, your CO sounds like a jobs worth. DIAC like a money making machine. so if you do the IELTS again , will you have 2 pay the full fee for another visa app? as for me mate still not had any word from CO, will be 3 weeks on tuesday 14th may, god only knows why she not got back 2 me, im pissed off with the lot of it, and the simple fact is that all i can do is wait. mate i wish you well with your IELTS, and let us know how you get on with things in the future, and if i ever hear anything from my snail like CO i will put a post in , cheers

just a update, lodged visa app 24 th oct 2012, so thats 6 months and 2 weeks, got a CO april 23rd, that was now 2 weeks today and not had any word at all from CO. my question is to you hrbrt372, you say you have a CO , im wondering if you have had any word from your one as yet? i was frusterated be for we had CO, but now im even more. coz most other people get a CO and its like pretty soon after that they get visa or some sort of communication with CO, im up every morning looking at e mails and praying for some word back, and after 2 weeks im geting proper FED UP with them, and thats puting it politely. Oh and i sent a nice e mail for CO and didnt get a reply . i know that they are busy, but words like incompetent and morons play a part in this application game.

just 2 update all , well had a CO now from tuesday april 23rd. and what has happend so far is NOTHING :arghh: not a bloody word, was feeling the pain of waiting months back . then got a CO and well happy days, but not had any contact what so ever. cant sleep and cant get this visa nightmare waiting game out of my head :realmad::realmad: . please CO i beg you ,faster faster, dont think losing faith can hold on any longer.

hi all i was told last week tuesday april 23 rd, via E mail from parramatta admin department ,that i had been allocated a CO. as you can imagine i was thrilled, and after waiting 6 months and a couple of days , i had it in my head that CO would be making contact with me in a matter of days. one week on im still waiting for a E mail from the CO, am i impatient? should i just wait? or should i send a nice polite E mail , just to let my CO know that im still breathing, just about. nice polite E mail wont hurt , will it?

well thats good 2 know as when i lived in south africa from 1972 and came back uk 1987, i did take out south african citizenship throu naturalisation, im uk born and am a british citizen, anyway in 1999 i was the victim of burgalary on 3 seperate occasions at my flat in england reported all to the police, and the last burgalary the scum bags for reasons only they know stole my out of date south african passport and my ID book, so will have to put unknown to those questions and explain at the end of form 80 in part J, but from what you say blossom ,maybe wont be such a big problem, im just worried throu desperation of fleeing this damp , grey , cold, wet , miserable island called britain and like everybody else cant wait to get down under:arghh:

jordz that gives me some hope mate that you did not have to fill the form 80 must be down to the CO then, back in the 1980 s i had a south african identity document , that i lost many many years ago and i dont know the ID number and it asks all those sort of questions in form 80, anyway what is form 1221? thanks​

hi all , we got a CO tuesday 23 rd april, had an E MAIL from parramatta admin office telling us this, not had word yet from CO, but looking forward to having word from her, just so u all know we put visa app in on october 24 th 2012, 6 months yesterday. anyway this form 80 has been geting on my **** as regards does everybody have to fill one in or what the situation is. so i phoned australia embassy in london and asked them, the lady i spoke 2 said that i should just wait and CO may or may not request this form 80 . as far as she knows its down to your CO, if anybody else knows any different i woul be glad to hear your answers on form 80 , as i have read a couple of people have had 2 fill in and others dont mention it in their granted visa timeline, cheers

hi WEN, we applied nomination mid august 2012, and got the nod around a week be for we put in the visa app oct 24th, yeah we are ACT as well, parramatta office, it looks like parramatta dealing with applications far quicker than any of the other ones, i just hope that we get a CO soon, and hope u get lucky as well, because its all a bit of a lottery.

hi WEN ,i think if you put your visa application in jan 2013, you more than likely have 2 wait until around early july 2013 for a CO, as i think DIAC are saying 6 months from when you actually put visa application in, and not the regional nomination, im sure thats how it works, or if im incorrect maybe someone else got better info, i think we all going crazy waiting, but i wish you luck with it all

i was hoping for some kind of application order from DIAC, but looks like it just down 2 your luck if you get pulled out the hat, our visa app went in oct 24th 2012 ,just short 6 months , how long can one go on like this, brain pain, wont be long now and will be searching for some ROPE.... come on DIAC sort it out man please.

im uk born, went to live in south africa with my parents when i was just 7, came back to live in england when i was 21 , that was 1987, so been back in uk 26 years now, so im hoping CO dont request me doing form 80, most cases that i come across of people doing a form 80 is because they from high risk, so fingers crossed

hi all im knew on this thing, we put our RSMS 187 app in on oct 24th 2012, non dcr, had medicals and they were sent via ehealth, no CO as yet, parramatta dealing with us, i think,, we going canberra one hopes, going up the wall with frustration, and the waiting is most excruciating. just a couple weeks off 6 months now , low risk, praying for CO to take me and the family to the promised land. has anyone checked out form 80 yet? hope CO dont request we fill one in , as looks like it a nightmare to complete.
