  1. Seems most female applicants who applied end of last year or beginning of this year (around till April) are getting this visa. Good stuff.
  2. Good to hear people getting their visa's again. I'm going Pakistan next month to bring my wife to Australia, can't wait May Allah grant everyone here a visa as soon as possible.
  3. Yes that is the final step. If you provided all the evidence and the decision maker is satisfied (99% of the time they are), then you should be receiving your visa in max 1-2 weeks. After i was told that my wife's visa had been forwarded to decision maker, it took less than 2 weeks to receive the good news. My wife also applied this year, mid March.
  4. All the information should be in the letter that you received in your email. Takes roughly 3-4 hours. Make sure to go on time. Pretty straight forward.
  5. Feel really bad for those who've been waiting for so long and yet to receive any proper reply from AHS. Really thankful my wifes process was really fast and went smoothly without any problems. I really think it makes a difference who your case officer is (for female applicants anyway).
  6. You just have to contact them through the email that's listed in the main form (48SP). Yes my wife did receive her visa letter via email.
  7. Really need to stress on the fact that best method of contacting AHS is through email. Everytime you try to call, your call will be forwarded or cut off. I only ever emailed AHS and always received replies within few working days.
  8. Because very rare do male applicants have their visa granted before 12 months. For females, it less than half that.
  9. Just a little tip for those waitings (female applicants). If you applied more than 3-4 months ago and have not heard anything so far, might be a good idea to try contact your CO via email (don't try phone). Its rare but sometimes your file ends up being underneath a huge pile by misplacement and you wait a long time. I know someone who waited over 12 months due to that. Her visa took over 15 months.
  10. Visa Granted P.S My signature has the complete timeline for those interested. May Allah grant everyone visa ASAP! Sooooooo Happy.
  11. Ocean123, don't EVER try calling your CO as its a complete waste of time. Best method of contact is through email. I've only emailed my CO and been receiving replys every second day. Been told my application has been finalised. Praying to Allah my wifes visa is granted before EID.
  12. omg! Congrats! I'm soooo hoping my wife gets her visa soon too. Btw, was your CO TA?
  13. The family composition was submitted ofcourse. FRC is different to form 54. It does not state anywhere that FRC is a requirement, hence the whole talk.
  14. It's so quiet, no good news from anyone. Lets hope this month brings better fortune than the last.
  15. Nothing after the additional info. btw, did you provide a Family Registration Certificate?
  16. They've already asked hence the question. I'll get one asap (will be a while thanks to NADRA's great family registy system).
  17. Seeing how the FRC is not on any of the checklists, no one would have given it when applying. I'm keen on knowing if any recent applicants (after december 2012) received their visa without supplying the AHC with one.
  18. There's no FRC on any checklist. And FRC is not form 54 it seems because i submitted form 54 when i applied. And also, form 54 is just about family information, has nothing to do with husband/wife information being together showing they are married. "NADRA family registration certificate is like form B. Before marraige you have a form B with details of your parents and siblings. After marrige you can have your own Family Registration Certificate"
  19. NADRA won't make the FRC now since my wife has her fathers name on her NIC and not mine. This whole FRC thing is sickening, seriously. Second what XaraBB said, i mean if this was on checklist, i would have got it made when i was in Pakistan. @_@
  20. If form 54 is FRC, then i already submitted that at the start... ? I don't understand......... I guess writing to my CO saying that its not on checklist is a complete waste of time.
  21. In Pakistan its who you know/have, not what you know/have. Basically if the superviser at Nadra agree's, you can have FRC with photocopy. Normally they require original. This is according to the NADRA helpline.
  22. That is correct XaraBB, it isnt listed in the checklists but my CO is in contact with me at the moment insisting that i send the last piece of Additional info remaining (i.e Family Registration Certificate) and NADRA want my original NIC to make it when i live here in Australia. Just great, really...... Can't you get the FRC made with sponsors photocopy NIC? Why on earth do they even need the original.. It's going to take a week for it to be sent to Pakistan and then making it and sending it to AHC =_=" Really annoyed.
