i rang up the helpline on the website and was advised to send it to this address.

so angry, have to re pay to send and another 2 weeks behind now with things, and one of my letters is now over 6 weeks old, which will invalidate it. it came from australia aswell

Thanks, just had some bad news, the parcel i sent was returned back to manchester as the address i sent it to refused the parcel. I rang the high commision on the morning i delivered and confirmed the postal address.... so angry. can you please write out the excact address that you posted it to please????

Yeeek, I emailed my case officer yesterday to find out if we'll need to submit any more info as we want to go over in August (8 month mark is October). She said that she had everything she needed to meet the 309 requirements and granted that the medical goes ok, we're in the clear! I'm so relieved! A tiny bit sad because I thought we would get the 100 (been together for four years this year) but I'm happy with the 309!

Medical booked for the 13th of May (three months after lodging), fingers crossed!

Hi again tulip, regarding been granted the 100, did you ask for it with been together nearly 4 years or just hope that they would grant that for you, reason i ask is i'll be in the same boat when i apply in a few weeks, me and my partner will be together 4 years this coming july

i just read the following on wikipedia RE lawyer

In Australia, the word "lawyer" is used to refer to both barristers and solicitors (whether in private practice or practising as corporate in-house counsel).

So a practising lawyer in Aussy should mean a solicitor, if that helps anyone on the above links

to all that have just applied for the partner visa,, relating to form 40sp question 10, it ask's to "provide a statement at the end of this form outlining how you will meet your sponsership obligations", does this mean my girlfriend(the sponser) needs to write a statement explaining that if i wasnt to find work or accomodation then she would be more than happy to support me etc? can some1 please tell me what they said in this situation??
