I just received confirmation of my visa recently and was advised that it would be held electronically and that if I wanted a physical copy of it, it would cost me £70.

Great news! My visa was granted on Tuesday!! Can't tell you how excited I am to finally be making plans :-)

Hey there, I sat the academic in February last year and got 7.5 in the reading and 9's in the others which was so frustrating!! I ended up sitting the general test 3 times because I kept getting 7.5 on the listening test!!! I finally got the scores I needed in December and now have my 190 visa! it really is so frustrating and expensive (I had to travel to London each time as I live in Jersey) but you'll get there. Hey there, I did the academic test first and got a 7.5 in the reading and 9's in all the others, so my migration agent advised me to do general and it was definitely easier however, for some reason I just couldn't get to grips with the listening test and ended up sitting the general test 3 times!!! Very frustrating but hey I got my visa granted on Tuesday so it's all in the past now! Good luck with your next test!

Got my 190 visa granted on Tuesday!! Can't tell you how excited me and the hubby are to finally make plans. All being well, we will be off to Perth mid August. Looking forward to having a December birthday in the sun! :cool::cool:

I am actually using a migration agent in London so I got an email from them with a letter attached advising me to do medicals and police checks. I was quite surprised it all happened so quick!

Hi, I lodged my visa on 01/02/13 and was allocated a case officer on 11/02/13. Medicals are booked in Manchester on 05/03/13. :biggrin:

Hi there, it took me 4 attempts! Sat the academic and got 7.5 in the reading then sat the general and kept getting 7.5 in listening of all things!! Practice is definitely key. :biggrin:

Hi there I am an accountant and have just received WA state sponsorship last week and my visa application was lodged on Friday. I am applying for a 190. :biggrin:
