1. I used local solicitor and they also did my self employed stat. They copied stamped and signed the lot. Cost me £10
 2. Don't forget the skills assessment through vetassess. As this can take a while paper/practical tests.
 3. Just sold mine to a local builder for £30,000 less than valued. Tried sell private but no joy for 12months. Had to go moving over in few weeks. Market is awful. Despite what they say
 4. Sell it. Order a ps4 when in oz
 5. Hi, brizi no I never filled in any form 80s or 1221s co never requested anything from us.
 6. Hi, I am a carpenter by trade with nvq 3. I was assessed by vetassess and graded as a level 3 grade A. My whole vetassess assessment took around 12 weeks. I applied for WA sponsorship which took 4 days from applying to getting getting the state sponsor. I had 70 points in total including the sponsor points had maximum points for age, work experience and trade quals. My ielts I scored 7.5L 7.5r 8.0w 9.5s so got 10 points for that. I applied applying offshore for a 190. I lodged on EOI to get invitation before 1st July 2013 it was early June 2013 when I lodged EOI. From EOI to submitting 190 visa took 2 weeks including securing state sponsor. I was invited on the 26/06/13 and submitted that day. Meds an pcc were front loaded so had no contact from co until visa grant. Visa granted 14/08/13. I have a wife and 2 dependants included on my visa. Hope this may be of some use to others. All the best for your visas.
 7. Well after all the tests assessments we finally got our grant today. Took 6 weeks from lodgement to grant. Moving to Perth in 4 weeks got a job well payed and staying with family in there mansion compared to my 2up2 down. Handed notice in 5 mins after my agent rang. Over the moon. Off to get drunk I deserve it.
 8. 26th June 190 wa state sponsorship. All meds and police uploaded few weeks ago. Not to worried about no case officer yet, hoping just waiting for grant as from previously applying I know meds are all ok.
 9. Thanks jess, they are very incompetent. Everything was done and payed for last year ie meds, police
 10. Well you all will probably know which agent as ruined my visa. First names global, they submitted my 189 visa on the 27 November 2012. Just came to light that they submitted it with claiming 70 points when they knew I had 65 points so diac came back today to tell me to withdraw my case and start again. Totally fuming as they have been nothing but trouble from day one. They are paying for the re apply fee of $3000. Wish I had the money to pay another agent to take my case but I don't so they will have reapply again for me. This time they will submit the right visa as I always wanted state sponsorship 190 but same again they applied for a independent 189. So 7 months lost and feeling pretty peeded off.
 11. Hi, no I never used the aqflll for evidence as Australian qualification. Wondered this myself but agent said this wasn't aligable.
 12. Hi they give you a scale drawing which you work out the degree from that. You have to draw the roof out on plywood first to show you can set the angles out. The degree is 36.7 so I did a 37 degree pitch which was fine. You could also do 36 which is also ok.
 13. Hi, pratical wise it was just what's in the picture. No saw horse just the roof. The technical interview you have to do on the day was very in depth lots of question's about excavations (civil engineering work) and building setting out. Asked questions about types of concrete and finishes. Also lots of health an safety questions other than that the rest was pretty much trade related. Hope it all goes ok.

Hi Craig,

My OH has got his carpentry test in a few weeks and the picture you have posted previously has given a good insight. Can you tell me what other type of stuff you had to do on the day please? He also applied for Joiner/Carpenter but was advised to do just the Carpenter side of things so our situations are pretty similar.

Thanks in advance,
