  1. Simply locate the closet Panel Physician, I don't know which city you are based currently so check this link:

    http://www.immi.gov.au/Help/Locations/Pages/Pakistan.aspx

Below is the detail for Karachi Panel Physician:

Medical and Radiology Clinic - Karachi [h=6]Street address[/h] IOM Karachi Sub Office

    House F-8/1, KDA Scheme I

    Tipu Sultan Road

    (adjacent to Karsaz Road)

You have to call & book your appointment, you have to bring your Passport & Medical Examination Request Letter at the appointment & pay the fee. 'Also applicants attending a medical appointment with a panel physician should bring their vaccination certificate to the medical appointment'.

Also you don't have to upload your medical result as it will be uploaded directly by the Panel Physician.

Hope this helps. If you have any question please ask.

I specially want to thank aussiegirlbay for the help and support , i am also grateful to ammjanfor the reply.

It took 5 months in total for the entire process to be exact.

  3. Anyone from family or friend who knows both the applicant & sponsor and believed that their relationship is genuine. I was asked to submit 2 stat.declaration + form 888, so stat.declaration was written by me mom & brother, while form 888 was done by 2 Aussie Citizens who were me husband's friend and knew me through him.

    Hope this helps.

  4. ;p This is just a phase, I know it's veryyyyyyyyyy tough but if you divert your mind & keep yourself busy in other stuff then it's bit easy... easier said than done :)

Thanks Aussie Girl Bay for your advice. I hope to hear the good news soon. Just that waiting is sooooooooooooooooo tough. Don't know how I managed to get through 7 months tho lol!
  5. Yeah you can always call AHC & check the status of your application, when you email you probably get a standard reply ' the average processing time is 9-12 months......' :) so best is to give AHC a quick call but guess you are not far from your grant as it's already 7 months since you applied.

    Good Luck!

Hi Ammjan, Firstly congrats on the visa application, must be a huge relief now that is out of the way. I also applied at the same time on 8th of March 2014, applied online everything has been submitted and medical, bio all done, provided further info as need by AHC. I would just like to ask, what how much time do you get to avail the visa? and also would you think it is a good idea if I email AHC regarding for an update on my application, I actually have never e-mailed them unless otherwise noted by them to do so.

    Thank You

  6. Sorry when we applied there was no requirement for Polio certificate so this is something new, I guess ammjan is right, perhaps you are required to present this certificate at the airport so nothing to worry really.

    Good Luck!

    Sex: Female,

    Subclass: 309 Provisional,

As all the formalities are done, I have submitted each and every bit required. I received my polio certificate by AHC at my place through TCS on 10th october 2014. I read threads regarding subclass 309 in this forum since one year but, i haven't read anyone mentioning their polio certificate got posted to their address though i have hired an agent aswell and all communication is done through him nothing direct. hope to read positive replies as i got bit worried. hope i am not the only one who went through this :S

  7. Standard processing time is 9-12 months but usually female applicants do get their grants somewhere between 5-8 months so hopefully she will get her visa soon.

    Good Luck!

    hi salam to everyone ,

    congrats Ammjan...

i applied for my wife visa on 22 april and got no news yet, she submitted all docs togather with Application ,anybody have idea when i should expect her visa ..and Ammjan which date u applied visa ... thanx

  8. Form 80 is for male over 18, it's part of partner visa documents so if you are a male applicant you should have submitted with your application to avoid unnecessary delay. If you are a female applicant then it's not required. If you've already got all PCC then simply send them to AHC as they are only valid for 1 year.

    Good Luck!

    Aussie Girl Bay

    Hi,

I'm sure this has been discussed earlier, but I wanted to know what's the deal with form 80? I mean when do they ask for it? Now that I have received my PCCs from UAE and USA, should I send them to AHC along with form 80 without them asking for it?

  9. Thank you for sharing, I wasn't aware of this nor found any information on AHC Islamabad website. Ideally online is much better & convenient compare to paper application.

    Good Luck!

We can definitely apply for partner visa (300,309,100) online.

@musmanasghar and @aussiegirlbay : Please note applicants applying online will have to take appointment via telephone for Biometrics and Medical examination.

For 190 subclass visa I got appointment via telephone. And I applied online...

Similarly for partner visa we have can apply online and later when the stage comes we can take telephonic appointments for Medical and Biometrics...

We CAN NOT apply online for partner visa using following link:

    http://www.australiavisa-pakistan.com/

We CAN apply online for partner visa using following link:

    http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/309-100.aspx

All visa applications are processed in Australia. No decisions are made in AHC (Pakistan).

All Visa related decisions are made in AUSTRALIA.

Gerry and AHC (Pakistan) only acts as a messenger between applicant and DIAC.

Australian Immigration department always prefer ONLINE applications on Paper applications . . . It is a rule of thumb !!!

  10. Probably Police Form has changed, it wasn't required before. You can submit your application without PCC then wait for CO to request for it, in this way you will get max 'Initial Entry Date'.

    Aussie Girl Bay

thanks a lot but one more thing yesterday I bring police certificate form, form required copy of letter of embassy what does it mean because for application lodge I need police certificate, from where I get embassy letter.

    please guide.

    thanjs

  11. No, I am afraid you can't apply 309/100 visa online from Pakistan.

Only applicant for ' Skilled, Business and Employer Sponsored Migration' can apply online as these applications are lodged and processed in Australia'

    Aussie Girl Bay

    I think we can.

Since anyone can create Immi Account. So yes, you can apply online from Pakistan.

I have applied for 190 subclass visa online.

  12. Hi,

As per me understanding through AHC Pakistan/immi website you can't lodge 309/100 visa online from Pakistan.

Quoted: 'The Department's office in Islamabad has a Service Delivery Partner agreement with Gerry's International to provide Australian visa lodgement services in Pakistan through Australian Visa Application Centres.'

    Check this link:

  13. Oh thank you very much for the beautiful comment, really appreciate it.

    Good Luck!!

I have applied for 190 subclass visa online. I haven't gone to Australian High Comission in Islamabad. All my documents and queries were submitted by ImmiAccount and via email.

I believe visa 309 visa can also be applied online. . .

@aussiegirlbay you are doing a wonderful job by taking out time and replying to queries. It really helps. :)

  14. Hi,

If I am not wrong Applicant can't make Online Application from Pakistan.

'Visa applications that can be lodged in Pakistan should either be lodged in person, at an Australian Visa Application Centre or sent by courier to the Australian High Commission, Islamabad'

    http://www.immi.gov.au/Help/Locations/Pages/Overseas-Lodgement-Offices/Pakistan.aspx

PS: just looking at your timeline, are you still waiting for your Visa grant? If yes, then why not update your CO & add your spouse?

    Aussie Girl Bay

    Dear members,

Is it possible to apply online for 309 subclass visa directly using Immi Account. Like we do for Subclass 190...

I have been reading comments ... Many members have applied through Australian High Commission in Pakistan (or the country they are residing)...

I just want to apply online... Is it possible ?

  15. Yeah I know how these agent actually works so just ignore what he told you, you did good by telling things honestly. Casual or part time, it wouldn't have any effect as there is no income threshold so I reckon you guys are good, just submit all the docs and your partner's job detail.

Hope you get your grant soon.

    Aussie Girl Bay

    Hey,

Thankyou so much for your reply. Actually we have an agent in between. Agent haven't guided me regarding this supporting issue. Later i told agent that i said, he is being supported by his father. Agent said, you shouldn't have said that. My husband got a casual part-time job for now. He will email me the prove of employment. Does it matter whether job is casual part-time or permanent? is there any threshold of salary defined by Aus immig?

  16. Nothing to worry, it's good to be honest..The reason why CO emphasised on job because 'Sponsor should be able to meet sponsorship obligations', please read form 40SP.

Now circumstances has changed and Sponsor has got a job so you should send his job contract or offer letter as an evidence of his income. Also provide the others docs requested by CO without further delay.

    Good Luck!

    hey everybody,

I am married to an Australian PR holder. he applied for my partner visa. I have few queries please anybody can help me out with them?

    Applicant: Female

    Application Subclass: 309

    AHC: Islamabad

    Relationship over 3 years,

    Married 10th Sep 2013,

    Lodged application: 19th May 2014

got my medical and biometric call:6 june 2014

    Medical & biometric submitted:10th june 2014

I got call from AHC, 12th September 2014 , CO took telephonic interview for an hour or so. My husband went 1st August 2014 to Australia for the first time. he wasn't employed till date CO called. CO asked me each and every detail, regarding marriage dates, venue also asked me about my husband's employment, i told that he is currently looking for a job in Australia. CO asked me , who is supporting him, i said his Father. CO emphasized that he is without job for now, how will he support you. as soon as CO put the phone after long interview. my husband called me and told he got a job.

now my question is, should i inform CO about his employment? i told each and everything to CO in detail. I haven't lied a single bit. before putting phone CO asked my of submitting PCC, Polio vaccination prove, Marriage certificate from Nadra (though i have submitted nikkah namah and pictures of marriage even in May 2014) and viber/skype/email evidences of communication.

I am worried what will be the response.

  17. Average processing time is 9-12 months, although most female applicant do get their grants in 4-7 months time.

If you 've already submitted PCC then you may not hear from AHC & get your grant straightaway provided they don't need any more documents from you.

    Good Luck!!

    The following is my timeline:

    Applicant: Female

    Application Subclass: 309

    AHC: Islamabad

    Application Lodged: 24th June, 2014

    Medical Done: 8th July, 2014

So it has been nearly 3 months already since I lodged my application, that's why I'm a little worried. We need to set dates for the wedding reception but can't do that unless I get any update on my visa progress.

  18. What's your timeline? Have you applied from Pakistan?

Applicant usually don't get to hear from AHC/CO unless they want some additional docs/info. If you 've applied just recently then wait atleast for 2 -3 months before you get a CO.

    Aussie Girl Bay

I don't know how they asked for a medical without assigning any CO. I was under the impression that a case officer contacts applicants and asks for further documents, which has not happened yet. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to mail AHC again and inquire about the progress of my application. Would anyone of you suggest that?

I'm still waiting for my Police Clearance Certificates from UAE (born and raised), and US (visited thrice, 12 months in total); hopefully I'll get them by the end of this month.

It hasn't been that long since I lodged my application, but not hearing from the AHC at all is kind of unnerving.

  19. Hi,

If it's already registered in Union Council then get it registered in Nadra too and do necessary changes in your current Nikah Nama, it may take little time but you should get it done quickly as hiding/lying (even unintentional) is not the right approach. You may consider lodging your application now without Nikah nama/Marriage Certificate as you will get CO in couple of months time so in the meantime you correct these docs and submit later.

Hope this helps, if you 've any more questions please feel free to ask.

    Aussie Girl Bay
