Hi Sulman, If you haven't received request for medical and biometrics, then contact the AHC. Its an automatic acknowledgement which should be done in one week. I lodged the application on 10/03/2014.

@Tooba... you can download your medical request as well from your immi account.... let me know if you need any help... I would suggest all of the female applicants to submit your documents including PCC ASAP. If you are living in another city after the marriage then you need two PCCs. If you don't submit your documents along with your application then you'll get the email from immigration department similar to one given below and it 'll delay your application process as well. Please provide the below requested information · A current Pakistan Police Character Certificate(s) for yourself and for your dependent(s) who are 17 years of age or older, and who are included in your application. Please note that you must provide the original of any police/penal clearances certificates. Certified copies are not acceptable. · Certified copy of your Computerized NADRA Birth Certificate issued by Union Council, Urdu and English. · Certified copy of your Nikkah Nama Urdu and English. · Evidence that your sponsor is an Australian citizen or permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen. · Photocopy of your sponsor’s passport

I would strongly suggest you to apply for a prospective marriage visa. http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/300.aspx Two of my friends got this visa without any difficulty.

Guys... One suggestion for both of you... Just call through the embassy and ask them the status... My wife call through AHC (Isb).... and they gave us a good news that your application is in final stages and you'll be informed about the outcome "very very soon"...

Aoa, No news at the moment. Interview is done. All of the requested documents are already submitted. One of my friend's wife got her visa in 4 months approximately. We also submitted documents about 4 months ago so waiting for their response eagerly. Fingers cross....

Yes, everything is done from our side. Initially, they didn't ask us for the medicals and biometric thing. My wife rang them up and asked for it. Then they sent the letter for medicals, biometeric, pcc etc. In the same week (about a month ago) they did my wife's interview over phone ( not mine, as I was expecting too). We resubmitted all documents about a week and half ago and now waiting for their response. Regards.
