I checked allocation table. It says applications will not be allocated over the Christmas and New Year period. So they might stop visa processing. I think it is better for you to prepare your application for assessment.

Did you already upload police certificate from your country? I had medical check and got police certificate on Oct. So my CO sent my agent grant letter directly.

Did you lodge your application online? If so, your CO will contact with you soon.

Hi,biker175. My agent sent me e-mail from immigration. I didn't received e-mail from them directly.

I received grant letter. And it shows 20/12/2013 Applicant Approved on my online status. I checked my grant letter and I found the name of my case officer. He is from Adelaide.

Hi,all. My visa has been granted today without CO. I checked my online status yesterday but it didn't changed anything. It didn't show processing further... I already uploaded PCC and medical check. But I didn't upload form 80. I applied visa on 10 Dec 2008. It was so long.

Recently many of 885 applicant from China got PR just 1 day or 2day after they are allocated to CO. It seems they don't　need to do security check. I think China is not a low risk country. 885 visa processing is so quick but we can't guess about 175 visa processing...

Any movement for 175 applicants lodged on 2008?

Hi parissa, I don't have a CO yet and I don't know when 175 visa processing start again. There is no clue. But you have a CO so you still have a hope.

On from Sep to Dec on 2012, a lot of 175 applicant got PR. Some of them just requested PCC and medical check. They needed to wait for about 4 years until got PR. And we need to wait for at least 5 years. Recently, only 885 applicants lodged on 2011 got PR. We lodged the visa on 2008 or 2009!! And when I checked the Chinese forum using by dictionary, I was surprised at some fact. One group5 applicant lodged 175 visa on Nov 2008 had CO on May 2012 and got PR on Jul 2012. DIAC start to processing group 5 visa on Sep 2012 but he/she got visa before that. It might be CO's mistake but it is so unfair.

Hi,parissa. Thank you for replying. From this month, DIAC increase visa application fee again even though they already increased it on last July. I hope DIAC start to process 175 visa application again soon:wink:

We already know the information about thilagam diraviam and VJDabs (It is Junie I think. Because it is exactly same date from Junie.)on this thread. Other 175 applicants are priority4.

I also checked other information on BEupdate. 27Oct 08 (175 Paper)/CO 08Jan 13 Application table for 886 visa shows online application faster than paper lodged application. But it might be not true for us.

Hi,marconi. I checked Chinese forum by using dictionary. Because there are so many applicants from China. Some applicant lodged on 28 May 2008 allocated CO on Nov 2012. So almost applicants lodged on Jun 2008 already got PR, I think.
