Hi Guys For Pakistani applicants How long is the average wait after the meds for visa grant?

I have read of tourist visas being rejected http://www.myaustralianimmigration.com/australian-immigration-advice/5799-spouse-visa-pakistan-12.html#post9688 what evidence can we attach so that it isn't rejected ?

Amz how did you do your medical without 1st lodging the application? did IOM give you a copy of the results which you attached with the application ?

don't think so form 47sp says that "If already undertaken, you should include results of your health and character checks" http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/47sp.pdf

instructions in the acknowledgement mail that you got for your application ?

did you guys wait for CO to request the medical or did u send it in without being asked ? I mean, medical is valid for one year and most likely the spouse visa will take less time than that so there is no harm in sending it in after a couple of months of lodging the application

hi ppl my 1st post here, I am on PR in sydney and preparing to lodge the visa application for my wife who is in Pakistan we just had our nikkah last month, and rukhsti is for December this year, plan to lodge the visa application now so that by december it would have progressed also will lodge a tourist visa application for december as I dont think we will get the spouse visa by december any problems in this? anyone else applied with nikkah ?
