  1. Hi, just wondered if you ever found an aswer to this? We've just lodged our 175 and having the same issue, just comes up PDF not found, what documents did you attach de facto evidence?
  2. Any luck with skills assessments yet? Nothing here yet
  3. Oxbxer7, just noticed your timeline, I thought you couldn't apply for SS until you have skills assessed? Or is it different for different states?
  4. Same situation here, got the IELTS results we needed yesterday so just waiting on skills assessment. If we don't get it back in time think we will go for Wa state sponsorship too to boost points for eoi. Think we have got most documents together but unsure what to send to prove de facto relationship?! Hope we all get our SA back soon!!
  5. How long does it take to get state sponsorship? I'm guessing if we applied for it now, we wouldn't make the July 1st deadline for lodging visa app. Just trying to work out best options, my partner needs 8's on the IELTS test (which he sat yesterday) in order to get enough points for 175 visa. If he gets 7's will either need to keep trying IELTS or go with state sponsorship to get enough points.
  6. Just wondered if anybody can explain the 176 state sponsorship visa to me? Am I right in thinking you have to apply for the state sponsorship first then when that is approved you lodge the visa app? Also, I understand the conditions of the visa require you need to live in the sponsored state for 2 years but do you have any commitments/requirements to work in your nominated profession? Are there any other conditions you need to adhere to?
  7. Me again. Still a little confused, if you don't get any extra points for being sponsored by family member on 176 and it also can take longer to process - why would anybody choose this option over a 175 visa?
  8. Thanks for everyones input, just to get things straight would there be any benefits from going for the 176 over 175 if you dont actually get any extra points? Thinking now that we should just go with 175. Hopefully the skills assessment shouldn't take too long and we can get it in before 1 July!
  9. You could well be right, will have to look into that further - does anybody else know??
  10. Hi, can anyone help? My partner and I are in the process of applying, we are going via the skilled migration with my partners occupation and I will be a secondary applicant. Hopefully the skills assessment should be sent off in the next few days and we realise we are cutting it very fine to meet the 1 July 12 deadline...! that being said, we're not sure which visa is the best option with changes looming. Originally we were going with 175 - skilled independent, but now were wondering if we should go for 176 - skilled sponsored as my partners sister moved to oz last year on a 175 visa and would be able to sponsor us. Whats peoples thoughts on this and what differences would it make other than getting the extra points? Hope somebody can help!
