Yes, 6 in each IELtS score for Direct Entry RSMS and 5 for transition from 457.

Your business gets bankrupt and it ceased operations. Your agent is giving you right advise but you should have second opinion. If business get sold and new owners takeover than it should be different story.

I think due to government regulations MRA's have to provide info to DIAC if they know info which adversely affect the outcome of application.

If you are lucky CO issue you PR without further investigation and then you join your new owner right away.

Other option is reapply but it will be extra hardship for you.

Hello everyone, today I completed 4 weeks since co has been allocated, he hasn't asked for anything since. My ma emailed him 2 weeks back and he just replied saying he is still processing it. I spoke to my ma again today to follow it up to which he said don't disturb them, they wont hold your file without a reason. Should I call up the co tomorrow directly to check if he needs anything ? Would it have any impact on my file ??

So it means they are working on your file, like waiting for some enquirers or reports. I think better to wait unless you have important thing to add.

Yes it will cause unnecessary delay. Just guess if all 20,000 RSMS applicants send 7 emails each, 20,000x7=140,000

Is it necessary that we get approved nomination first before the last doc to be submitted or there's a possibilty that an approved nomination comes together with your visa? anyone? pls help.

If you meet all the requirements, nomination and visa can be approved same time. But if documents required, it can delay final decision.

I applied non drc as a chef high risk on the 29th june 2012, acknowledgement received on the 6th july..

 

Did not hear anything at all and then today i was allocated a CO and was requested to re do medical for my wife and police clearance for myself as they had expired.

I was not told if my nomination has been approved yet, but i going to wait for Monday when i get back to work to find out about it.

Finger crossed... i was a bit surprised to be contacting today on a Saturday

Based on this, nomination is approved and you are ready for grant.

Hi each case is different they are not picking file according to dates. It depend upon your document and your migration agent . People apply in July getting visa . I know it will take time specially for people who apply in June .

Hi but one of my friend got visa in last week apply 20/6/12 Mel (ndr ) ..

If your friend applied on June 20 and you June 30, your friend was ahead of you by at least 10,000 applications due to last week of June rush. I know two people who applied MEL June 28 and heard nothing so far.

It doesn't end in April, the info they publish states their financial year ends at the end of June.

I agree with you with this But some budgeting and processing quota is there in March/April.

Sneh, I think people from May are still waiting from COE MEL. You are part of huge rush in last week of June. No sense contacting DIAC at this stage. If you are non DRC and high risk it may take longer.

No, immigrations financial year ends on the 30th of June like the whole rest of Australia's does.

You may be right, but when I was speaking to my CO in April last year, she mentioned April year end. I was confused too. Now somebody in thread mentioned March year end.

Immigration's year resets on the 1st of July, so really not sure what that means. There are caps each year on different professions, but they reset from the 1st of July....

March 31 (or April 30 according to me) is financial year end for DIAC, which can influence budgeting and allocation for manpower.

RSMS have planning level cap of 16,000 applications this year which ends on June 30. This level or quota is same as last year.

My guess, this quota is near exhaustion by end of next month due to the high demand last year.

Probably next big grant influx will be after July 1.

Many people seem to get asked for those, and considering the amount of people who come on here before they get their visa saying that the company is going bust, it seems there is a need to.

Oh ya, going bust and popping up again with new name and ABN.

Now all the others have to suffer with tighter regulations and site visits.

Yes, all of the above is correct for two years after grant. But you present employer have to relieve you.

No, 30th of June was the last day. Then from July 1st was the new visa.

How did you applied on June 30-12 because last date for 119/857 was June 29? After this new visa classes were launched i.e. 187.

Different ABN means different organization and it wont work for you. You can only change workplace with consent of present employer, in the same regional area within two years of PR.

Hi i applied 857 non-drc as a cook at parramatta on 29 june 2012. all my friends who applied on 25,26,27 june they got co last week and some of them got PR. so how long u think it will take to reach 29 june.

9000 RSMS applications were received in last week of June-2012, It depends where you stand in line.

29 June got 4000 applications alone so you can guess. Normal rate of processing is 1400 applications a month.

But you have something for comfort, two days before your submission are getting PR.
