You will be able to see the application and progress but not view any correspondence between immigration and the email account associated with the application, unless your immigration account matches that email account.

Was the company already a registered sponsor? Do you have access to the nomination or primary application correspondence?

They asked for further info on Dec 20th, from then nothing at all!! So frustrating. Not even nomination has gone through. Seems very odd. Even MA said it is unusually long but maybe I take a back seat as am onshore, but still massive life decisions to make and medicare expired etc so its getting to me No one else seems to be waiting this long

If a sponsorship agreement ends on 12 January 2015 but the Temporary Work Skilled Visa - Nomination (457) and Temporary Work Skilled Visa (Primary) (457) was submitted on 10 January 2015 then this is OK? Receipt of Temporary Work Skilled Visa - Nomination (457) and Temporary Work Skilled Visa (Primary) (457) was received on 10 January 2015 also.

My company's business sponsorship expired during the nomination and application and they haven't renewed it.

The nomination and application was submitted prior to the expiration date and we were told by immi that as long as it was submitted prior to the expiratiom date, we should be fine.

Is this true?

Yeah they recently switched to Opal for Light Rail. The tap stations aren't on board though, they are at the stops.

No action at all on the IMMI account until today (2/2/15) when it was granted. Two emails sent out at 0400 GMT+11.

Who can I use for this?

I've read that for a 457 visa, information can only be provoded via email. There isn't any information provided over the phone.

My visa application was submitted on 12th December 2014 and the status change in front of my name "Processing - Please wait for the department to contact you"

happened around 10th Jan., I am not sure if this happens for all the application, however, the status of application is still "In Progress" as of today and there has been no correspondence.

Having a quick Google, I think it might be related to my Health Insurance been processed. As far as I'm aware, this message wasn't there before.

Meeting the health requirement

Health has been finalised for this person for this visa subclass based on the information provided to the department. If this person needs to do anything further to meet the health requirement, they will be contacted by the department. There is no need to contact the department at this time concerning this matter.

Decision ready basically means that you have all the supporting documentation ready with the application. For example, work references, medical insurance, educational certificates / transcripts. If all these documents are ready for the team to view upon launch then I believe it is deemed as 'decision ready'.

 

There are a lot of other factors that may arise during processing and they may ask for more documentation which could have been hard to pre-empt before launch. Hope this helps!

Yes mine used to say Processing, but has changed to that.

When I log into my ImmiAccount all I see is "In Progress".

Go to Actions >> View Application >> Under Person # >> There should be a status to the right of this.
