Hi Anya i am from Dubai and looking to move to melbourne preferably towards the eastern side by March 2015 along with a family of 3 (Myself, Hus and 5 year old son). Could you please let me know the key things to be considered from dubai to Oz. 1. i am thinking about bringing furniture like sofa set, bed mattress, few side table, dressing table. 2. Melbourne having cold weather, what kind of attire should be carried for office? I presume its shirts & trousers. Do ppl normally wear skirts? 3. should we bring home appliances like microwave, washing machine, mixer/choppers? 4. Also, checking out for good shipping deals in Dubai. Please let know if you know any with economical rates.

Well, I received a request for PCC on 1st week of May as my previous PCC was expired. However, i noticed that the signature was with PM, Brisbane team 34 on behalf of team 14, Brisbane, email id null. pointer here is email id is Null.Which team from Brisbane does JC belong to ?

Guys, I have been requested to obtain PCC because my PCC has been expired. We had written to CO mentioning that both PCC & medicals are expiring in April. However, we heard from CO requesting only PCC. Wonder why there is no request for medicals. I perceive that both should remain active to mark initial entry. Anyone here had/knows a similar situation like mine. Your responses are highly appreciated here. Regards

Guys,my clearance n medicals are expiring this month end. My agent is not bothered of sending a follow up email to CO? Should I check with CO and ask for an advise on next step.

What does application status - active processing indicate ? Finalisation or external checks?

Yeah, I just hope my CO takes a quick decision on my case and i 've not informed my agent that I spoke to my CO. I dont want to get into further trouble. . Hope everything goes well.

Dont worry Kellie. My case is an exception. i hope nobody else face similar situation.

Does any one know what does it mean by "Your application is under active processing". Does this mean external checks or case finalisation?

Kellie23- My agent is based in Dubai. I am having a terrible experience with them. I am unhappy but now my case is in finalization stage. Hope to hear some good news from DIBP.

yes CaptianC, CoolBreeze, I spoke to the Case officer today. I rang her direct number. I had asked for the status of my application. She said my application is under active process. Since I have appointed migration agent I have to come through them for any correspondence. I had apologised for contacting directly. the response from her was its ok. Not to worry. I am not kind getting what she meant by active processing? is my application being finalised. What do u think? I am going crazy with this. I lodged my application in 2013 april. long long waiting,.

I havent recevied any response from the CO after Jan 2013. I was thinking of mailing CO to find the progress of my application. Has anyone communicated with CO while appointing an authorised person on our behalf. Do you think if its ok to email or call them?

Hey Guys Anyone with CO Initials as PM from GSM brisbane team 34. I was asked to submit few documents and Im awaiting response from my CO since 1st February 2014. My agent has sent an email to her last Sunday and no response yet. cant figure out what going on?

Hi Mdhorne, I have been assigned to her since Oct 24th and I am still waiting for my grant.the last she had contacted me was on 27th jan requesting documents for employment evidence, secondary school certifcate and my visa status details in UAE. I had responded back on the 1st week of Feb and I am waiting. Did she request you any additional documents? How long its been for you? Does she respond to your emails? and how frequently does? well, i have submitted my via an agent. my agent has emailed her asking the status of the application on 9th march and havent received her responds yet. Hope she is satisified with my documents. please share your experience with her as well.
