  1. so frustrating! took weeks to move 3 days! how come perth is so quick cant they take some of the others work load?

Melbourne hasn`t moved in 11 weeks now!!!talk about frustration

agree that Perth should help them out,its a discrace

  2. Glad to hear that alfredv, hopefully you get some news

    Here are the updates

Parramatta Centre of Excellence (COE) ENS cases which were received on 1 July 2011.

Parramatta Centre of Excellence (COE) RSMS cases which were received on 29 August 2011.

Melbourne Centre of Excellence (COE) ENS cases which were received on 1 September 2011.

Melbourne Centre of Excellence (COE) RSMS cases which were received on 1 August 2011.

The Perth Centre of Excellence (COE) ENS cases which were received on 14 September 2011.

The Perth Centre of Excellence (COE) RSMS cases which were received on 12 December 2011.

  3. I have no idea why the approval is taking so long. The nomination was a DRC application...thats what the migration agent told me.. but she says that irrespective of whether DRC or not, the application is put in the same pool.

There is no way DRC nomination would take this long, I think you should call DIAC and ask what is the problem with it, and ask MA for a proof that it was lodged at all, my MA always forwards all the emails from DIAC to me

  4. You are right Katerina! thank you for bringing it to my notice. I contacted my migration agent and questioned her about it. She had given me a different impression about the whole application process. It looks like I have waited for these bloody 7months for nothing!!! If I apply now, my visa application date will be Feb 2012. I will now have to wait for DIAC to process applications of aug, sept, oct.... jan, feb!

Am so pissed off with my migration agent at the moment... I had told her several times that I wanted the fastest and quickest approach to the getting the RSMS visa because I am away from my wife .. she was under the impression that I wanted to be cautious to avoid losing out on the visa application n RMA fee incase the application was rejected!

I dont know what to do now.. I have been away from my wife for the past 2.5yrs now and now the prospect of being away from her for another 8-10months or more is killing me!!! I have 1/2 a mind to contact the immi dept and find out if anything can be done but am not sure if they will respond considering the fact that I have applied through a migration agent....

That is tterrible alfredv!! Why is the approval of the nomination taking so long?

I think you should ask your MA to lodge the application DRC, so you could have a grant in less than 2

months ,but not sure if you can do that if nomination was non DRC..!if they don't give you straight answers I would consider getting a new agent.

Hope you get this sort out quickly I can't imagine to be away from my husband for so long!:(

    good luck

  5. Im pleased to hear that Katrina.havent heard of allocation tube before..

    Me neither Smwarlock

this is exactly what it said :

"The application has been placed in to allocation tub and will be with a case officer next"

So hopefully it won't be too long now! Have you contacted the immi?

  6. F.Y.I, I am from a high risk country, and I put in my DRC nomination through a migration agent on 25th July 2011. Am surprised I still havent got a case officer assigned till date even though others who have applied after me have either got a case officer or got their visa. My migration agent contacted DIAC this Tues, still no reply yet.

Have you actually lodged your application? I always thought that the clock starts ticking after the application is lodged?

  7. Hi guys, got some good news this morning- husband's employer sent email to our MA ( not a very polite email) and she forwarded it to the DIAC and they emailed back saying that our case was moved ho the "allocation tube" and will be with CO next week!!!

geting very excited and SCARED :-)

  8. HI i have my NT RCB approved on 30th august 2011 and i applied for 857 visa on 2nd September 2011 with Melbourne diac till now i didnt have CO assigned can some one tell me how much time its going to be take for my 857. I sent blank email to Melbourne DIAC but it is stuck on 1st august from more than seven weeks now. i am very frustrated.

Hi goldie, unfortunately the updates via email is the only thing we have, Ronak got his PR today and he lodged 04/08 in Melbourne so it is moving, slowly, hopefully they got over the backlog in June (due to the fees increase) and will move faster! I would say at least another 4 weeks..I am 08/09 :-)

  9. Application and nomination both lodged in June.

    CO appointed 5 nov

extra info regarding nomination, specifically job description and contracts asked for

CO went on leave for Xmas and whole of Jan!

no news yet, been two weeks since co got back.

I am worried, I don't think my boss provided the correct details..

so its either ask for more information..

    ..or bye bye Australia!

Are you from high risk country? Decisions for high risk take longer so try not to panic, I would give it another week and then I would call them

  10. Thanks guys

I dont knowhow to put timeline as signature

SA certification Applied May Got it in july end

RSMS Nomination and Application applied together at Melbourne (NON DRC) 4th August

CO Allocated - 8th feb. Documents requested and Provided 10th aug

    Visa Granted - 15th feb.

Congratulations Ronak!! Great to know that Melbourne has moved forward even when the updates are still at 01/08!!

you had a fast decision as well, enjoy your moment:-)

    :-)

  11. Hi everybody,

Just a want to ask is there anybody get response from CO when RSMS 857 visa was lodged in 2nd September 2011 or later?thanks

Hi undertaker I asked my agent to contact them and find out what is the situation , so far no reply even from the agent...did you apply in Melbourne ? They are only processing applications received by 01/08! So I think it could be few for more weeks before we hear anything

  12. We applied July 11. We have a co since dec but still nothing yet. Tomorrow it will be exactly 7 months... Any advice? What can we do? Please. Help us!

Hi I would contact the CO to find out what is the delay and if there is a problem at least you can deal with it, normaly CO makes a decision in about 3 weeks

    Good luck

  13. Hi Illegitimate,

My application was lodged in Parramatta, i am in Townsville now, so not far from where you are now. I Look at your details, yours was applied after me, but you got a CO already, thats very lucky on you. I just got a question to ask Is it worth to contact DIAC to ask about my visa progress because it has been over 5 months since.thanks for your kind help!! and all the best of luck to you PR

What is your nationality? If you are from high risk country the time frame is 7 months, low risk is 5 months

  14. Any update guys????

  15. hi all,

Do anyone know, we can apply for subclass 119 while in australia or we must be outside australia at time of lodgement.

    thanks in advance.

Hi dunken I am not 100% sure but I think for 119 you have to be off shore at the time of lodgement, that's what my agent said when we were discussing our visa options! She said that is the main difference between 119 and 857, you have to be off shore for lodgement and grant .just double check this with an MA

New updates should be out tomorrow , so fingers crossed Melbourne has moved forward :)

    i am so frustrated :-((

  17. Can anyone tell me what they have been quoted for shipping of a 20ft container from Dublin to Perth. Would like to get an idea of prices please.

Hi friend of mine got a quote of €3500 Dublin-Perth with a-Acers , just google them, can't give you feedback it only left last week!it was door to the door

You can try amc removals- they gave me quote 1000 cheaper than anyone else, but I have to check them out before I seal the deal

  19. Received a phone call from a supervisor on 4 Jan that our application RSMS has been escalated and that a CO would be appointed the following day. No news from a CO yet, but today I will be phoning to hear who our CO is, as the supervisor did offer I could phone her to find out. God willing this week we hope to have ours approved.

Hi Illegitimate convict that is great news!! If I am not mistaken you had urgent case( your son's UNI) did they allocate the CO faster because of that? We sent our letter of priotity in Nov and no news... Our agent says just to wait..

    Thanks Katerina

  20. Hi everyone, i have one question in my mind.. I applied my nomination and visa together, all documents required for visa were there in my application including PCCs, medicals and all other forms, but their were not few documents which were required for approval of nomination, as my employer told me that he cant give any of those confidential documents to third party(migration agent) but he is ready to send directly to DIAC. So, my question is, Is it possible to send those documents now to DIAC directly through post or email OR i have to wait until i get case officer??... Will it make any difference, if my employer send those documents now??

Any replies will be really appriciated....

Hi dunken, sorry cant help you with that but if I was you I would ask my agent ?

  21. After everything, CO going on holiday and the nightmare year we've had an email just arrived with the magic words VISA GRANTED!!! OMG, we're going to the other side of the world

Brilliant news pinkcera!!!!!!!!!!! Wish you all the best and VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

  22. my mother ****ing employer has taken my nomination back as i quit workin for him ... NO MORE VISA TO BE GRANTED BASTARD

Sorry to hear your bad news, but honestly what did you expect?

Rsms visa depends on the fact that your work for certain employer so if you quit why would you expect him ti support your application ..??

  23. Seriously, things just get worse and worse for us.

Just had an email from the migration agent, on Friday the case officer asked for more info, this morning there was an out of office message from her saying she is out of the office until the end of January!! Seriously, we're just going to be left waiting till the end of January!

Hi pinkcera what other info they ate looking for if you don't mind me asking..?

I can't believe they take such a long break and don't close all open cases..!! That's ridiculous !! Can you not complain anywhere ?
