Well had such a busy day today, the guys took all the stuff fantastic, had a last inspection off the letting agents, which was ok! I wouldn't hold my breath for any bond back. Anyway thought we would finish our last night of by having a stroll to the restaurant (well more like a very long walk) anyway had a lovely meal, then started our very long walk back, and just been atacked with eggs thrown at us from a car full of youths, which they found very amusing, there was me my husband and son, what a sad way, but not surprising to end a great night.

The guys have just left... One empty house now, glad that's over with, just sat on the floor but it's well worth it, another step closer too blighty....

well just sat making lots of tea...the guys are here with the container packing all the house up...having a very busy morning...:biggrin:

from what ive seen in australia theres lots of companys etc closing down too...it isnt just the uk. australia has massive problems too, it isnt UTOPIA! England is beautiful place with still lots to offer..probably more than australia can ever offer...3 cheers for the uk...

Thanks for that, the thing is I told them about 5 months ago when we booked our flights and tryed to book an appointment with the agent to meet me at the property on the day we move out, I told them the dates we were flying etc anyway they said they could not schedule us in for any appointments as it was to early to do anything, all my rent is up too date and will be till we leave but I just can't help but think that they are doing sod all to help us, we had to pay $150 for advertising which was put on real estate I was told if I want a board it would cost me a lot more money which I don't have! We've been left to show people around too, they have given us no forms for anyone to hand out, but cant understand when I came to view the property there was an agent here handing forms out (there was still people living here) and showing people around so abit confused... Anyway all i know is I'm not paying for a property i don't live in so come the 24th I'll be on that big bird back to dear old blighty

can anyone tell me what happens if you break a lease on a property and you dont pay the rest of it off... we have a 13 month lease which runs out in january, but we are returning to uk this month so there is 3 month left on it..ive informed my real estate agents and i have been advertising it for rent but they dont seem to be doing owt coz they think im gonna pay the rest of the lease off till january...but they are wrong mistaken...can they prosecute me and bring me back here to court or what???? not really sure never had to do this before...anyhelp will be greatly appreciated.. thanks:confused:
